We had dinner and everything was amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such good service anywhere it was amazing. The food was delicious but too spicy for me, now the server did warn that the food was spicy when we ordered it, so that mistake is just on me. But even the items that weren’t overly spicy did feel like they were a bit hotter then what I am used to in Canada. These were the best desserts I’ve ever had at any Indian restaurant.

Lovely place and very good cuisine. We went there during lunch and took the Lunch Menu. We definitely had plenty of food and even had trouble finishing the desserts. Apparently the portions are always the same (quite big) so be careful to not overeat yourself too soon ;-).

Best Indian fine dining experience in London! I would rate an 11/10 for service, ambiance, cuisine, flavor, uniqueness. Was hyped up by many friends/family and it delivered on the ultra high expectations. Every bite was a culinary experience and just blew my mind each time. Worth it (expensive but Michelin star so it’s expected) and make sure to get a reservation asap as it’s very hard to get into. Can’t wait to come back!

One must absolutely go here. Plan in advance and get a reservation. Everything is done to perfection. The decor, cutlery, service and food of-course. Each dish was perfect, absolutely the best Indian food (outside India). The flavours, spices were so well balanced. Methi malai mattar is to die for. It is a must go in London.

We heeded the advice of many patrons and ordered a la carte, knowing how filling the food was going to be, and we were still incredibly stuffed by the end of the night.Service was solid (bartenders were especially great to chat with as we waited 15 minutes at the bar for our table to be ready), but food was more noteworthy. Highly recommend the venison keema naan (most delicious dish for me personally), the aloo chat (most unique, so happy I tried it), and the quail kebab. The chicken butter masala was quite good, too, but nothing too exciting or new, and honestly I was already getting rather full by the end of the meal. The tea was most certainly welcome at the end, and the staff prepared a cute celebratory dessert as well. A good way to finish the night!Definitely a classy establishment great for a quiet, romantic meal, and simply top-notch Indian food. Overall just a wonderful experience at Gymkhana.

The food was amazing even if sometimes I did not know what I was eating, just because my Indian food culture is not sufficient even if I like it a lot. You will only get a table with reservation and you will have to use credit card for the reservation. If not sure you will really attend, don't book it, otherwise you will still be charged. We were on the Vault room, however room is quite small not comfortable neither cosy. we took the degustation menu and too much food was served, we couldn't eat it all. The staff is nice even if on the vault room you might have the need to have one more drink and no way to ask for it, until you get the next dish.

Lovely experience for our Anniversary Lunch at Gymkhana, One MICHELIN Star restaurant in London. The only reason I am giving the food 4 stars is because I had chickpeas in almost every dish I was served as part of my lunch package - that said, I am a fussy eater and I don’t do much dairy. But every item was wonderful, nicely presented. Food is rich, creamy - you will need a nap right after! In general, the service is very accommodating, spice levels are right and the ambience is beautiful. Highly recommend! Super vegetarian friendly.

Beautiful atmosphere, decor and a touch of elegance. Located in Mayfair you expect nothing less. Food was delicious and certainly of a high standard. Only disappointment was the service charge was excessive and we was charged for tea at the end after having asked for the bill (which amounted in excess of £880). It just would a been a nice gesture to give it on the house. That said the masala tea was another level too!

Cozy unpretentious restaurant considering the Michelin star. Did the 90£ veggie tasting menu which was delicious!!! A ton of food though we took lots of food home. The eggplant was a favorite as was the biryani

My husband and I tried the tasting menu and thoroughly enjoyed it. Every dish was a wonderful combination of textures and flavors. My favorite dish was the prawn curry. The mango rice pudding was also spectacular. Beware, the tasting menu is a SIGNIFICANT amount of food. We couldn’t get anywhere close to finishing the main dishes because we were so full! Be sure to make reservations well in advance.
