We have been with Stilwell Gray since June 1998 (21 years) and recently taken early retirement. We have been very happy with the excellent and friendly professional service they have provided to us.It has been a pleasure working with them over the many years. Sarah Holland and her team have been brilliant. Always very helpful and quick to respond to emails.We would highly recommend Stilwell Gray.

I would advise anyone with a small business to avoid using Vantage. They may be OK if you have an extremely simple contracting job but were a complete disaster to deal with for my business.They were ill organised and no one seemed to have a handle on my accounts, we missed one important deadline (despite frequently chasing) and were down to the wire for the following 3 at which point I cancelled.My accounts were in such disorder that I had to pay another accountant to bring them up to date, 7 months of extra costs.I called the manager to discuss the service and didn't receive a response which I think sums up the experience.Also interesting that only the positive reviews get a response from the business.I regret ever having signed up with them, the stress and duplicated effort/costs required to rectify the mess were fairly sizeable.

Alice Andrews, the Client Director at Vantage Accounting not only has a very good Telephone manner but she also has excellent Customer Service and Problem - solving skills! She coupled with her Team deal promptly with all our Company's accountancy needs which certainly allows us to focus on the daily running of our business. They are highly approachable and any queries we have are met with timely solutions. I couldn't rate their professionalism high enough and would recommend her and her Team to anyone looking for the complete Accounting package!

Awful service , contacted in September 2022 and paid £750 to have my accounts filed. We are now in March 2023 and still not been filed. Once paid I had no contact from them and had to chase up, initially they asked for all documents which was sent over , it wasn’t until February they then told me I had to fill out a spreadsheet myself for all my income and expenses for the entire year and put into sections to make it easier for them, although they already had all my documents and log in details for planners, bank accounts, and apps that I use so it should be straight forward for them to do this, I have now been given a fine from companies house due to how late my accounts are. They refused to take my paper receipts which had already been put in order for the year and said they cannot use them , I have asked for my money back and it’s just excuse after excuse . No work has been carried out and are making it difficult to even get my money back. DO NOT USE

Horrendous firm. Can't complete simple work accurately or on time. Don't respond timely to emails, the only thing they will do on time is collect a direct debit for services they don't do. Steer clear
