Pentland Land Rover Dundee

Steering rack failed in my Landrover Velar , only done 48000 miles . Not interested in trying to help. Only want more money to fix it . Very unhelpful . Will never but another overpriced piece of junk from them again .

Bought a Range Rover Velar in February 2023, Car has been unbelievably unreliable, been back to the dealership 3 times in that time.However what has been more concerning is the dealer themselves and there attitude, when buying the car we were told it goes through stringent test to make sure it’s perfect before handover. 6 months later with the car being in with another problem with the car having done 3.5k since we bought it we were told by Dundee Land Rover it needed and additional new discs and pads all round and 4 new tyres after the health check on top of the problem the car was in for.The car only gets driven locally and pretty cautiously so I asked the dealer how on earth does the car need the above based on the car having only gone 3.5k miles since we bought it and the car check they carried out before handover, to be told that’s what needs done we will not be contributing towards any repairs, the car was perfect before handover. This is the kind of service you can expect from this dealership when buying a 45k car.Whoever carried out the health check forgot to check the ad blue as the warning light came on after another 300 miles since the check.All the best if you decide to purchase a car from Dundee Land Rover.

Fantastic buying experience this is the second vehicle we have purchased from David who is very helpful and down to earth and as this was my wife’s car he gave her the respect and dealt with her throughout the complete transaction.

It seems to me that the reviews on here are comfortably split with some people saying that the service was awful and some people saying the service was fantastic.My experience has been great right from the initial enquiry that I made through Auto Trader. When I went to see the vehicle in question, which was a used vehicle (that had been used well) I was treated with the kind of respect that you would expect of someone about to buy a brand-new car.I’m not sure that everything to do with this purchase went as well as the dealership would have liked. There were a few odd delays here and there with things that needed to be done. However, I can’t fault the dealership with the effort it put into getting the car ready for me and delivered.I dealt with two or three members of the sales team, and they also treated me well all the way throughout the process, certainly a level of trust was built up right from the start, but over the course of the entire sales cycle.Obviously, having just received the vehicle, I can’t comment on the service side of the business. However, what I would say is that I see myself being a lifelong customer of this dealership due to the way I’ve been treated buying this car from them.

Quick service , good communication and good quality courtesy car

I purchased a an Evoque convertible from this company in February with a new MOT. When I heard grating from the brakes recently I took it to a local garage only to find that there was less that 2mm wear left on the brake pads. All four brakes required renewal. You may say but that was 9 months ago but the car has only done just short of 1500 miles since I bought it. Worse than that on checking the previous MOT's.. previous advisories" had gone missing between September 2022 and February 2023 when the brakes hadn't been replaced
