Lucy Till Celebrant

From when we first met through to our wedding day, Lucy has been brilliant. Lucy helped to shape our ceremony in a way that struck the right balance between fun and humour, and love and affection. All our guests said it was the best ceremony they'd ever been a part of, it was really inclusive for everyone there, yet intimate for both of us - something we both loved.Lucy took time to get to know us both, meeting us in London well before the wedding and we worked together to write a fantastic ceremony script. One that told our story in the best way, while keeping parts of it secretive from one another so there were pleasant surprises throughout - it was a really nice touch for us and our guests.Our wedding wouldn't have been the same were it not for Lucy, and the vast experience and advice she brought to our special day. We really can't thank Lucy enough for everything she did to make our day the most memorable day of our lives - thank you so much!!!

Lucy was the celebrant at our wedding in the south of France and the ceremony was just perfect. Lucy was celebrant for our wedding in August in the south of France. We had a mix of French and English speakers in attendance and Lucy was able to create a ceremony that recognised both with her ability to speak both languages. The whole ceremony was the perfect balance of being light hearted whilst maintaining the feeling of emotion and formality, something numerous guests commented on. Lucy was the celebrant for our wedding in September 2022 - she guided us through constructing a simple but meaningful service, and gave us suggestions that helped to make the day special for everyone involved. The day itself went perfectly in spite of some weather challenges and we and our guests were delighted with the service and with Lucy's work. There are no words that can truly describe Lucy as a person and celebrant. Nothing I say here will do her justice. She was amazing from the first time we spoke to the day of our vow renewal with our family. I probably leaned on her more than most given the surprise nature of the ceremony. She was meticulous with every detail and provided me with a sense of calm every time we chatted. I would also lean on her for her opinions and ideas around some logistics of the day and she was such a resource. I would look forward to our conversations so much as I know I’d leave feeling so impressed with what she was creating for us on the big day. We worked together on the special words, prayers, stories etc. however, when it was time to put it all together I couldn’t have been more in awe of what she had created. She is truly amazing and delivered a wonderful ceremony for us on a day we’ll never forget. We chose Lucy Till to be our celebrant at our wedding in Provence because she had great reviews and was incredibly personable and kind when we had an introductory call with her. She was so passionate about making sure that our ceremony was personal to us and we thoroughly enjoyed planning it with her. She very helpfully gave us lots of ideas for the format of the ceremony and the different types of readings and blessings we could have. On the wedding day itself, Lucy was very flexible as we weren’t sure if the wedding was going to be outside (as originally planned) or if we would have to move inside last minute due to the weather. We moved inside, and Lucy took it all in her stride. She brought it into her speech and made everyone feel relaxed while ensuring that the ceremony was everything we asked for. We would definitely recommend Lucy if you want a celebrant who takes the time to get to know you, becomes a friend during the process and plans a very personalised and special ceremony for you! Clive and I were married in the Bluebell woods in May and it was a first for Lucy as a celebrant to take a ceremony in the woods. She gave us so much help in finding a suitable venue, taking time to get to know us and what we liked and the essence of who we are. She had great suggestions and ideas so we didn't end up doing everything as well. So in the end we had a handfasting ceremony that was just perfect for us. Lucy enabled our guests to feel at ease and was leading the ceremony yet stepped back often to enable us to be the true focus of the time. We think she is a wonderful adaptable (!) celebrant and would recommend her to everyone.

We were so pleased we chose Lucy for our wedding in Wiltshire.
