Jennifer's nails

I went to this place for an infill after getting a black french tip full set from them a few week previous. They filed down so thin and put a clear acrylic with a clear top coat. There was no colour added to the base. They then added french tip on top without putting any pink to the nail. When i went back to ask them to correct it they refused because they “dont usually put pink”. I have been to this place to a few times before and they have always had a pink layer added underneath the french tip. I explained my frustration however they stated to correct it i would have to pay an extra £15! I payed £33 initially for the infill to be done. Everyone i have shown my nails to were shocked and confused as the nails i usually get were fine. I will show you my previous set and then my recent infill. This will show an obvious difference in quality and effort. When you work hard to pay for a particular service to be done, the outcome should be up to your standard. How can you, as a business owner be happy with giving your clients less than bare minimum? (In my previous set they added a pink layer which i did not ask for separately, it was understood that when asking for a french tip you would add that. So now i get an infill and suddenly this does not apply?)

Can I just say that their service is 10/10! I have been using Jennifer Nails for the last two and a half years, it's the best nail place I've ever been to! The nails are always excellent and the staff are lovely and really well trained.

I had my shellac nails done at this place. The girl who did my nails did not communicate with me unless I asked her something. Instead of using acetone nail polish remover she used the electric polish remover without even asking if I agree with it. Irrespective of what happened at the salon, l went home and after, not even two days, two of my nails broke. After another week, another three nails broke. I didn’t do anything major in the house except my usual activities. The electric tool she used to remove my previous polish damaged my nails and made them very prone to breaking easily. I would never advise anyone to go there to do their nails! It is not worth to pay £30 for something which is not of quality especially when they damage your nails. I honestly want my money back! They don’t even deserve one star!! Not to mention the lack of sensitivity to client’s wishes.

My favourite place, they take time to get the shape right and make sure you’re happy. The staff are lovely as well.

This was my first visit and the first time I get my nails done in years. Was recommended by a friend and I don't regret it. The place is very clean, beautiful and organized. The staff is great. I always get confused when I have to fix my nails, never know what to choose and they were very kind, understanding and helpful. Victor did my nails just beautifully! Thank you dear!! This used to be my “go to” nail place but I went for a gel French pedicure on my feet and acrylic nail extensions on my hands. The skin on my feet were worse after the pedicure, peeling and dryer and the gel French tip chipped after 1 day. Whilst the guy was doing my nail extensions on my hands he filed the shape and asked if I was happy and I said “yes perfect” then he carried on filing the sides (which I didn’t understand as I already said I was happy with the shape) and made them so narrow which wasn’t the shape I wanted and I asked him to remove the thumb extension because it looked ridiculous and even more narrow than the rest of the nails so he did removed it and did the acrylic on my thumb again. They looked okay in the end but a nail was coming off after a week and a half. This place has gone down hill and I wouldn’t recommend it

Wish i read the reviews before going. Makes sense now. Been 6 times and charged a different price each time for the same treatment and a different quality of service each time. Owner is rude and does not care about repeat clients. Make up prices and treatments as they go along. As a local, I will never go again and do not recommend them. Each review is for a reason. Terrible service, terrible attitude and greedy!

Had this guy who was jittery the entire time. Effect was almost like he was having withdrawals from caffeine of something. He was also heavy handed and rough in handling my hands and nails. I felt nervous as a result. Was overly rough when filing my nails too and hurt the skin on one side. Not sure I will come back. Prices aren't that reasonable anymore either

Sadly, this salon has officially gone downhill - it’s not what it used to be. ‘Jennifer’ should invest in experienced and creative technicians as this nail game is now levelling up. Hesitant to be with the same manicurist whom I used in my last appointment, they said he was ‘very good’ for my gel acrylic request. I wasn’t happy with the final results as he didn’t match the nude base colour to match the IG nail art image I showed him. After one colour coat. I clarified what I wanted, he and his colleague insisted they didn’t have any other colours, and instead justified the results when I said I didn’t like the base colour - they need to ensure they deliver the same results or check if customers are happy before proceeding. All wore masks, which makes communication even more difficult. My nail ends arent painted fully and glue wasn’t carefully applied that it went on my fingertips - uncomfortable and painful. I wouldn’t waste your £50 on this service, these people aren’t trained artists and the place feels like a nail factory. Go elsewhere (nail boutiques) for creative quality nails and get every pound’s worth ❤️ End of an era for Jennifer’s Nails Golders Green - it was good while it lasted! My advice - always listen to the customer #taintedquality

Every time I went there they charged me different prices for the same service. The nails don’t last long. The service provided by the staff is very bad as they are very rude. I will not be coming back there again.
