Moorside Farm Bunkhouse

Basic but everything you'd expect and a few things more. Owner is effecient and location is great.

The food and hospitality was 5* with lovely home cooked meals. The accommodation is basic as you would expect from a Bunkhouse, however a few things would have made our stay even better (curtains to block light in main sleeping area, softer seating/cushions in dining room, separate sections for privacy in men's showers). Overall recommended for groups, a beautiful area and good value for money

Just returned from a fantastic girly weekend at Moorside Bunkhouse and exploring tourist destinations in the peaks. Lovely host and he was a lifesaver on a number of occasions! Great breakfast too :) Thank you Charlie!

Stayed in the bunk house with 14 friends this weekend and it was exactly what we were looking for. Charlie (the owner) looked after us very well - the food was excellent - and although the bunk house is fairly basic we had everything we needed for a weekend of walking and catching up. Would definitely recommend to others.

Just spent a great weekend here walking and cycling with friends. Accommodation is basic (it's a bunkhouse) but clean. The food was good, courtesy of the owner, Charlie, who lives in the other half of the building and was always helpful when we knocked on the through door. The real coal fire added to the atmosphere as well as the heat. It's pretty remote - no phone signal, though Charlie might share his Wi-Fi if you are desperate and ask nicely - so a great place to get away from it all.
