Bellevue Bicycle Workshop

I had a disappointing experience with this bike shop. I found them to be rude with a noticeable aggressive attitude. This attitude seems to reflect in their responses to other non-5-star reviews as well.I initially brought my bike in for a service, but after this I encountered a recurring gearing issue and frequent chain derailments. They informed me that fixing these issues would be complicated and expensive. After a lot of back-and-forths, additional expenses, and being made to feel uncomfortable, patronised and intimidated, I felt I needed to look for assistance elsewhere.Furthermore, they made unauthorised changes to my bike and then tried to charge me for those alterations. In the end, I decided to take my bike to Halfords, where I had a much more pleasant experience. They fixed the problem within 10 minutes, and the cost was £5. Since then, I haven't had any issues with my bike.I had initially hoped to support a local business, but unfortunately, my personal experience was not good.

An e-biker riding the wrong way knocked me off my bike at the weekend. Both the bike and I sustained some damage. St George’s Hospital put me on the road to recovery. Bellevue Bicycle Workshop put me back on my bike.Tim barely seemed to glance at my bike before he set to work on it. He swapped out the bike he was working on. And with the minimum of fuss it was fixed. It did need quite a few tweaks, but nothing major. Tim made it look effortless. I was chuffed. And relieved.From talking with him, it’s clear that he knows his stuff. He gives the impression of someone something he loves. He clearly loves bikes and gets great satisfaction out of helping people back on their bikes.I know I'm unlikely to get this kind of service every time, but I won’t hesitate to go back to him with any future bike issues.

Sent the shop a WhatsApp when they opened at 10am on Sunday and they told me promptly they’d be able to accommodate my gearing issue that same day. Had the issue solved and a nice bike chat with Tim all by 2:30 in the afternoon. Quick, friendly, very little hassle and some really professional, passionate guys. Will be back.

The owner is just incredible! Last night, I realised my front wheel release was coming off loose and didn’t know why. I was panicking about not being able to use my bike which is my main means of transport!I took a photo of the wheel to show the guys just in case they could help me. Today, I popped round to ask whether they knew what I was supposed to do. The owner very kindly looked at the photo even though he was busy and told me I needed a bolt which he happened to have and gave it to me straight away!Great people, professional and approachable.Will definitely be going back. Thank you very much!

After negative experience with one of the high street bike shops I turned to BBW after looking them up on the internet. I looked by best rated and went for it. Managed to get my bike done same day and Tim also checked my bike overall and kindly adjusted the handlebar stem and brake pads. To describe in short I’d say professionalism, dedication and experience. I’ll be coming back soon with my other bike which needs few things done too. Thanks again Tim and the lady who works there ( sorry don’t know the name) you made my day.

Needs 6,7, 8 stars available.I cannot speak highly enough of the incredible service that I received from Tim and Bellevue Bicycle Workshop.As soon as I mentioned that I had purchased a second hand bike after a long absence from cycling London roads, Tim went out of his way to go above and beyond and provide me with so much useful information and an absolute thorough service of my burley purchased bike.I could write all day how pleased I am with finally stepping into the workshop after years if admiring it from a distance as a Wandsworth resident.I am proud to have such an amazing local business on my doorstep and would hope that any cyclist living in and around SW18 would take advantage of Bellevue Bicycle Workshop. The service at Bellevue Workshop is always amazing. Ever since I got my bike I've been going here and they have always been incredibly helpful, and given really great advice. Hugely reccomend.

Very happy with my experience. I had to replace my headset bearings, which was completed on time at a reasonable cost. They even added a service to fully inflate my tyres and tidy up my brakes. Great service

The team at Bellevue Bicycle Workshop are friendly, attentive and super knowledgable. If you’re looking for a bike service I’d highly recommend booking it in here. Full service completed on the same day and my road bike felt brand new when I got it back at the end of the day. At pick-up, Tim took the time to give me a full run-through of all the work done, parts replaced and any changes to be aware of. Bellevue also recommended stopping by after running my bike in for 50+ miles after the service for a quick re-tune which was included in the service. Again, the service and results were brilliant. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough, thank you for doing such a great job on my bike!~ Lawrence
