Timberwise quoted to project manage our cellar conversion. We chose them because they instilled confidence and were nice people. The price was around what we expected. There were issues with communication between various tradespeople they used. Some turning up before others had finished. Some things weren’t completed as they should have been or in time for the next tradespeople. There were disagreements between tradespeople which we had to resolve. We had to step in at times to point out that the way something was being done was not what we had asked for. The project itself was expected to take 3 weeks. It took 2 months.The overall result has been fantastic and what was a damp unusable space is now used daily. We are delighted with it now it is done. Some of the tradespeople who worked on it we have called back to do more work and will continue to use in the future for other projects.All in all I would recommend them, when there were issues they were all resolved and phone calls were made with apologies.

Great company, quick response to issue. We originally signed up to get our damp issue sorted, however upon inspection after taking plaster off there was structural damage to the wall that needed fixing. They got this fixed straight away for us, and did not pressure us to purchase. The work took for days, and they even worked on the weekend to get this done, following snow! Everyday my hallway was left spotless when they finished the work. Would highly recommend!

The team at Timberwise did an excellent job to treat rising damp which which affected our ground floor hall, front and rear lobby’s. From the very first consultation till the end of the job a high level of professionalism, cleanliness and expert workmanship was displayed along with problem solving and constant communication when required. The technician Carl went above and beyond even finished off some of the skirting in a manner that was better executed than it originally was. Can only recommend.

Matt is such a professional and a gentleman... Gt old fashioned customer service and he is v knowledgeable... Honest and upright... Had a flood in house.. Helped me know what to do.. Responsive service too

Matt was very helpful and went out of his way to make sure we got the service we needed. We had an issue with a potential leak under some flooring and as well as investigating the problem we raised, he made sure that the rest of the property was ok too. Very quick to respond when we asked for extra information and accommodating with unusual circumstances.

Professional, excellent Customer Service from start to finish. Always got back to me promptly and nothing was too much trouble regardless of whether I went with them for the job or not. I completely trusted the advice given. Not the cheapest quote but they worked with me to get the best value for money in the timeframe I needed it completed for. Timberwise completed damp proofing at my property.I found them on google and they offered a free quote - many other companies I rang wanted to charge me to have a look at the issue (clearly trying to tie you into using them and quoting excessive prices for this)Matt came to quote, he was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and followed covid quidelines. The work was completed the following week. Carl completed the work over a day and a half, left him a key had no issues and he left the house clean and tidy both days. I was very impressed at how little dust there was! Office staff are friendly and made paying my deposit and balance easy. Would def recommend!

I want to pass on my personal thanks to Matthew Hargrove who gave a informative survey and always is at the end of a phone and very informative and knowledgeable of his subject area . The customer service was quite slow initially (we gave up trying to get a pre-purchase damp & timber survey done with them, but tried again for a free quote for remedial works after we bought the house). We had to wait a while to get an appointment for the quote (about 3 weeks), but the surveyor (Matt H) and the work that was done were great! Matt stayed in touch throughout the process and when the job got more complicated than expected he explained the pros and cons of our options honestly, and in a way that made us feel like we had control of the situation and choice over how to proceed (as opposed to feeling like we had no choice but to spend more money!). Carl who actually did the work was also great and left the house clean and tidy.

Matt came to our property quickly after we called and was honest, polite and professional. He made a very stressful time far easier to cope with. Nothing was too much trouble. He was on hand when we needed him and was so helpful throughout. The works were carried out quickly and efficiently by Steve who did a brilliant job, the house was left clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend Matt and the team to anyone.
