Over the Rainbow Day Nursery

Our daughter has been attending Over The Rainbow Nursery for almost a year now. As a qualified social worker who has worked in child protection it was imperative that our daughter was placed in a happy environment where safeguarding is paramount and she would be encouraged to develop. Over The Rainbow have ensured that she settled in well and has a key worker who she felt secure and happy with.We receive regular updates with regards to her progression and it is clear to see that the staff are passionate and caring about the children. Our daughter has been taught so much, from learning to share and take turns to using cutlery to feed herself (all age-appropriate things). Our daughter runs into nursery each week and we are very pleased that she enjoys her time at the nursery. I would wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to anyone considering placing their child in daycare and wanted a secure and happy environment for their child.

I was very unsure about placing my two year old daughter into a nursery and she went from being in a private child minder and that didn't go very well, she suffered some injuries to her scalp. So I was very relaxant to put her in to another child care provider but the owner of over the rainbow day nursery Laura was very reassuring when I went for my induction she reassured me that everything will be fine and she'll settle fine and she' will do well, and believe it or not my daughter learning has developed so well that I am actually upset that I have to pull her out due to me moving and the distance is not realistic. I would never taken my daughter out from over the rainbow day nursery until she started school. because the care from the ladies, the professionism the way they look after her she eats well she's happy she's excited to go every day. It leaves me disappointed and sad that she has to leave. it's a brilliant nursery I would recommend it a hundred percent to anybody who wants to put their child into nursery. the security is amazing the staff is brilliant you couldn't ask for a better nursery business and professional people then over the rainbow day nursery. Management they are so for the children and parents. They work closely with you on achievement with your child and With the update on your child progression. I give them a five star rating. So thank you over rainbow day nursery and Laura the head of the nursery I thank you deeply. Wish you all the best for the future.

Our daughter spent 4 very happy years at Over The Rainbow - it was like moving away from family on the day she left to go to school. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them! We used to love the daily update book/sheets, the pictures and development in Tapestry, the friendly welcome from all the staff and the care they showed to our daughter.

My daughter has attended the nursery from 9 months of age and has settled and developed exceptionally. All staff at the nursery care for her above and beyond as well as educating her as she grows. Many occasions I have contacted the nursery regarding changing days, pick ups or general questions and my questions have been dealt with promptly with full dedication to helping us. We have been there for 10 months so far and have been over joyed with the progress she has made and support we continue to receive.

Our daughter has been attending for 3 months now and she is loving it. She seems to learn a new skill everyday! Fantastic nursery and really friendly staff! Really like the observation records as they give a little insight of how our little one is getting on and taking to the daily activities!

My little girl has been enrolled at OTR for over three years and is only leaving shortly as we have moved house - too far to commute. It was a really tough decision to move pre schools as the staff here are absolutely wonderful and she adores them. The nursery has brought the best out of my little girl and her key-workers have been warm, friendly and professional. We get regular updates on her development and she absolutely loves the sports sessions and circle time which the nursery puts on.I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this nursery to others and will really miss being part of the OTR family.

The staff and environment at this nursery cannot be praised enough. My 2.5 year old son attended this setting for almost one year, after which we moved to another area. The kindness of the nursery's manager (Laura) and her staff goes above all expectations - she was always there to answer any questions you have about your child or to provide guidance & advice about my son's development.The nursery provided a warm, nurturing and educational place for my son and I highly recommend it to all parents. He was sad to leave it, and we hope that our new nursery is as good as Over The Rainbow Nursery in Romford. Keep up the great work Laura and team! You are missed and all the very best!

Absolutely wonderful nursery - my son absolutely loved it here was so sad to leave (moving house). My son started at around 11 months old and it was so reassuring to know he was in safe care and having a wonderful time. The staff are always lovely and caring and tell you what your child has been upto that day. I loved the little sheet they give you daily of the activities that they have done, eaten and changed. Fantastic nursery, highly recommended. As a teacher myself and being very aware of the importance of safeguarding, stability and a happy, great stimulating environment I am so pleased with the amazing care and security my daughter receives on a daily basis .The staff are all so friendly and caring and you can see the manager really cares and will do her upmost to accommodate. Great communications regards my daughter's progress and weekly activities...the smile on her face at the beginning and end of the day says it all. One very happy daughter...and Mummy.Plus a fantastic location just around the corner from train station!
