My husband and I struggle to put into words how superb both Kate and the cake were. People are still talking about how beautiful and tasty the cake was! Kate really takes time to get to know the couple and you can see it in the results. We cannot thank Kate enough!Make sure you order a tasting box as you’ll be surprised by how your initial ideas will change once you’ve sampled some of the many the flavours!

Beautiful, bespoke 80th birthday fruit cake topped with fabulous sugar peonies made for my mother. Kate had a free rein on the design and her detailing was second to none - an exquisitely executed finish, iced to perfection and with lovingly handcrafted sugar peonies that blew our guests' minds! As well as looking beautiful it tasted amazing - rich, juicy fruit cake with just the right amount of alcoholic kick. Cannot recommend Dolce Lusso enough if you need a cake with that special 'je ne sais quoi'....

Where do I start. Kate is absolutely amazing I cannot recommend her enough. Kate was the first person we met regarding our wedding cake, admittedly we were first drawn to Kate after tasting a sample (a lot of samples) at hedsor house along with many other wedding cake makers but kates really are another level, there are so many flavours to choose from and the cake itself is DELICIOUS.We then met to discuss designs and I knew straight away Kate was the lady for us, she was so kind and helpful and listened to exactly what we had in mind even though my design was slightly complicated she made it work.All of guests commented on how beautiful the cake looked and how amazing it tasted we even took some cake away on our staycation and it still tasted delicious and fresh a week later.Thank you so much Kate I hope we meet again and taste some delicious cake. Kate is incredibly talented and her cakes are delicious. Despite our initial consultations being in covid lockdown she still managed to create the bespoke personalised cake that we wanted - better than we could have imagined ourselves!. Would not hesitate to recommend her!

We are so happy we picked Kate to make our wedding cake. She was extremely friendly and professional from the outset. Planning/rescheduling a wedding during the pandemic was not easy but Kate was very accommodating and reassuring throughout.The cake itself was fantastic. We had a very specific design in mind and she executed it just as we imagined. Due to covid-related travel restrictions we had 40% fewer guests than planned, therefore hoped to have plenty of cake left over for freezing and to enjoy at a later date. Alas the cake was too delicious and was all gone before the end of the evening - a testament to how delicious it was.We would definitely recommend Kate to all our friends and family.

Kate was a delight to work with. She came to our rescue at the last minute for our wedding cake and we can't thank her enough. Despite the short time, she was supportive, friendly and very helpful.The cake she made was exactly what we wanted and looked beautiful. It was all eaten during the wedding (and some for breakfast the next day) which is testament to how delicious it was.I would highly recommend Kate to others for their wedding cake - not only is she very talented, she is a lovely person too.

Dolce Lusso Cakes
Kate was absolutely amazing to work with. From the day we first met her to taste her cake until the day of our wedding, she was both personal and professional. Over the course of two years, with multiple postponements due to Covid, she stayed in regular contact and was incredibly warm and flexible. She made us feel like she genuinely cared about us and our wedding. She was diligent in making sure we got exactly what we wanted. Her cake was, of course, also delicious. We ordered a cake to feed 100, and although we only had 54 people in attendance, we finished the night with only one slice of cake left (as many people has two slices—some even had three). The cake was also very beautiful to look at! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kate at Dolce Lusso to anyone looking for a wedding cake maker!
