Bartender accused me of using a fake ID despite the fact this was not the case. Very disappointed and feel very insulted that they accused me of lying and treated me like a child. Unbelievable.I don't even care that much that I wasn't served -- I only wanted a pint to kill 15 minutes. What bothers me is the accusation. If I ever come here again (which is unlikely) I'll be bringing my passport too since they're clearly unfamiliar with provisional driver's licences

If, like me, you're a real ale fan, don't go here, as the choice is very limited/non existent. Staff are friendly and a good atmosphere though.

Only reason I come here is due to Dan the manager who makes this place a place I want to visit. I can assure you if you make this man the main manager the place will be worth it’s weight in gold

Great evening, I visited with my wife, friends and our dog, the new manager made us feel very welcome its just a shame she's a geordie.
