Cregennan Lakes Car Park
This place is stunning! Lovely walk up the mount to catch a view of it all or just walk around both the lakes. Sign posted and safe. There are picnic tables and toilets available for the public. The road is VERY narrow with hardly any give way spaces, I wouldn’t advise coming in big motor homes at all. It’s very nerve wracking, especially if you have zero experience on country roads. Big car park which is free to park all day. No over night camping.

OMG this National Trust park was stunning! The photos really don't capture just how beautiful and peaceful it was. Note: there is a public toilet which is very useful to know when hiking. Just gorgeous!

Excellent stopping off point to enjoy the stunning views of Cregennan Lakes. Always plenty of room (and a toilet that is actually open). Picnic tables scattered around, highly recommended.

An absolutely beautiful place, a real hidden gem. The lakes are so clean and peaceful. Spectacular views.Honestly the number one place I've been to since I started hiking around the UK.

Car Park free for National Trust members only. £5 for others but this help fund all the open spaces and building conservation's they do.We visited right after the rains and found it still beautiful though a few more lakes than normal (especially round 2 of the picnic tables.Stunning views with the heather and gorse in flower and streams at full flow. So peaceful and picturesque.

The car park is big enough to not get crowded or full, £5 for a day is reasonable especially if spending the day in the area. However the toilets are a state, not clean, not checked often enough and not had any money spent on them in a long time. For such a remote spot, decent facilities should be a must particularly for young families

Cregennan Lakes Car Park
Driving through and just wanted to take photos of the lake and hill, so pulled over into the carpark as it was the safest place to do so. As we were only there for 15 minutes we didn't pay anything and didn't encounter any issues with doing this. Beautiful area.

Spectacular panoramic views over the mountains!Cregennan Lakes in southern Snowdonia are owned by the National TrustPerfect for families, dog walkers.Easy access with bike.Some gate are closed, but only to protect the farm animals.Amazing place

Absolutely stunning location. We stopped for lunch and a walk at this very photogenic National trust site.There is a car park at the top and a single unisex toilet available. The route up by car is very narrow tracks which at times can be quite busy.You can easily spend a few hours hear taking in the landscapes and walking.

This is NOT a free carpark as advertised here, unless you are a national trust member. This space is in need of repair considering at minimum charge £3 the parking is expensive. Many potholes, the picnic table was surrounded by a Marsh and the toilets were dirty. Views are great.
