Went in at lunchtime. Prices have gone up a lot. Some items I needed weren't there but that's. OK. Spoke to a lady staff member doing bakery items. Really niceWent to till, lass there was efficient but no happy. I know what that feels like

Usually love this Co op store on cockerton Green darlington, however, went in recently and while at counter I noticed collection of dirt behind monitor near card payment equipment, I mentioned this to female assistant who said its like that because they can't get behind the screens to clean it, I put my hand there just above it and proved it could easily be reached and cleaned, she just ignored me after that. Been in since and exactly the same dirt there not been cleaned.

Clean and tidy though think they were due a delivery as a number of gaps were fresh produce should have been. Staff friendly and polite. Good selection of products and some good offers.

Great service, but there is one problem. Two days ago, I bought two milk bottles that were to be expired on 21/11/2020, baring in mind that I had bought it on the 19/11/2020, it had floating white bits inside. I opened my Milk bottles and both of them were in date but smelled out of date and looked out of date. I am utterly disgusted by this, but, the workers are very indeed kind.

Reasonable parking behind, the food I wanted was available and checkout process was reasonably quick and easy. It's a bit more pricey than I would like and they could be quicker to open up new tills when a queue forms, but it's very convenient.

We order from the delivery service and it is really getting on my nerves one time I ordered to things of green milk in the all white cartan and be because they didn't have it they didn't send none at all so that left my kids without breakfast until later when I could go out . And I ordered crumpets and (marmite and nutella and they never sent them just the spreds) and they owe me 50 pound

Takes the hassle out of parking your car at all the other supermarkets and a better choice of food sometimes it's better to pay a few pence more for quality

This place is like the tardis. It looks small compared to the co-op just across the road but don't be fooled this is a bigger store with more on offer. The prices are average, the food is good and you can always find a great deal in here. As someone who shops here regularly I would happily recommend you pop in to see what you can find. 4 stars only because the car park is at the rear and there is no access to the rear. You have to walk round if you drive or need a taxi.

Went in to get myself a snack and a drink this morning, self scanned, had my money ready, comes up that I need age verification for an energy drink. Fair enough.I wait a good few minutes and nobody is available. No one approaches, and the only staff member I see is restocking the fruit and veg. She sees me, puts a finger to her headset, carries on. Still no assistants come to assist. Shouted Does nobody work in here?" Still nothing. Cleaner buffing the floor ignores me. Abandoned my shopping and went a few doors along to Greggs."
