There is a wide choice of comics, well categorized and organized. The young staff has some members who couldn't care less, others were gentle. I'm not a typical comics buyer and maybe ask odd things (my daughter was searching Mickey Mouse comics in a Marvel paradise), but this does not justify barely answering.

One of the best 2nd hand comic shops in the UK. The selection is continuously churning, weekly and daily new stock arrives. A systematic approach to reducing prices on stock to shift it, means that bargains can be found in their 50p boxes but also that there is space for new arrivals. The buyers are shrewd and knowledgeable, and know a gem when they get them in, and price accordingly. They will not negotiate on prices, and bear in mind, the individual working does not have authority to do so.The staff are quiet and let browsers browse, but are pleasant and as mentioned, know their comics.Call ahead if you are selling comics, to check a buyer is in, and you get a little more in trade than cash, but be realistic, it's a buyer's, instant payment market you walk into. They have a glass case for more expensive comics, silver age, and as you can see a lot of comics. They organise them well, but also have given sections by writer, Moore, Miller, Ennis etc for a few.Manga, SF books, Commando comics, UK comics, silver age, bronze, modern, annuals, and comic packs fill the store. They have a large wall of graphic novels and there is much delight in finding something unexpected or new, or in many cases over the years, unknown to the purchaser!

Fantastic little treasure trove of a store! Real back issue racks, a plethora of well cared for paperback books, and reasonably priced graphic novels and tpbs. Essential.if you're in the area!

An incredible selection of old and new comics. Found a bunch of cool comics there. Just beware that you're likely to spend an entire day there if you're a comic book collector. Plus the guy at the store is an MMA fan like me, so that was pretty cool.

Notting Hill Book Exchange is one of my absolute favourite place for old magazines! Young Irish lad at the till was so lovely to chat to about the magazines. As a magazine collector this is a gem of a place as the prices can be so inexpensive. I paid 50p PER s&s magazine!!! Selection is great and I will definitely be returning to find more gems.

Excellent range of stuff, both collections and single issues. Has a fun system where for every month a product goes unsold the price gets reduced. It is right next to the Notting Hill Book exchange which does also have comics, so make sure to get there early in the day to have time to explore both fully.

Tiny but super cool place. It has been there for ages and the price range never changed. From 1£ to +10£ you can find everything from comic books to books and art books.

We walked over from our hotel in Paddington to see what they had. Google says the hours on Sunday were from 10am on but they weren't open at 1030am when we got there. Fortunately the Notting Hill BOOK Exchange next store was open and they had a few comics to browse through. The proprietor there was very friendly and indicated that the guy running the comic store may or may not show up :-). My advice is to call ahead if you plan to visit. The walk there and the neighborhood is very pleasant

Lots of choice, not just comics. Good prices; found a novel translated from Spanish for £3, a French comic for £4, and a beautiful indie graphic novel for £7 (normally worth £13) A bit narrow so glad I went on a Monday - it probably is much busier on evenings and weekends!
