Recently bought a sofa and arm chair. Brilliant service and quality. Great communication from order date to delivery. I would definitely recommend this store for anyone needing furniture or homewares. Something different to see every time we visit. Whoever is sourcing stock has a great eye!

Love this new store! An eclectic yet cohesive collection of homeware and interiors for sale. Housed within a beautifully renovated historic building, a wander around its shelves and displays are an experience in itself! Super friendly, approachable staff who were happy to spend time advising on options and finishes. A must visit on anyones next trip to Shrewsbury!(If you can’t visit in person theres a great website too!)

A lovely shop which sells some truly beautiful things, I think I would buy everything here if I could. The building is just stunning as is the same with their other store.I haven't bought anything from here (yet) but the prices seem very reasonable considering the quality of the items for sale, these are not things you will find at DFS or other similar stores, they are quality and beautiful.I also like the fact that the staff are unobtrusive, I hate nothing more than being followed around a store by staff, a member of staff just quietly said if you have any questions just ask us. That was much appreciated to be able to wander around uninterrupted. I hope this is the norm, it seems to be after visiting their Barmouth store too. It's so refreshing to just be allowed to look around without pushy salespeople after a sale.Shrewsbury is lucky to have this beautiful shop.

We bought two sofa’s recently from here in the same material but two different styles, the quality of the sofa’s outweighs any we have previously owned and the service and buying process was second to none. The only downside is that my wife loves the shop so much she always manages to buy something every time we are in Shrewsbury (or Barmouth) , as they sell so much not just large pieces of furniture, be sure to pay them a visit there’s more than it seems behind that small frontage in the town square! Great work Pieces for Places!

Great looking shop with a mix of smart furniture and lots of accessories. Immediately recognised the shop from the style. Very interesting. Alladin's cave just like their other store in Barmouth. Absolutely stunning, amazing staff, amazing furniture and all around amazing atmosphere! Can’t stress enough how much a furniture shop like pieces for places was needed in this little town Shrewsbury. Overall yes it truly is amazing!

We were absolutely thrilled to see pieces for places was coming to Shrewsbury. Jack has done the most incredible renovation of the building, restoring it to its original state. They have a huge range of beautiful pieces from candles to kitchen tables, including a wonderful sofa collection upstairs. Shrewsbury is very lucky to have this fantastic independent store, I thoroughly recommend everyone visits. I have bought a number of items from them and I absolutely love having them in my home. Very knowledgeable staff and a calm, welcoming environment to shop. Located in the stunning square behind the Old Market Hall.
