Being new to the area they came up on doing a Google search, i told them that i thought it was a clutch when they examined it it was fuel issue which turned out be a lot cheaper than I had been quoted it's great that there are good fair hard working honest businesses still going strong would I recommend, YES ,5 Stars is not enough thank you so much

I was visiting the Lake District for a weekend and the check engine light came on the day I was supposed to start a 6 hour journey back. He was able to fit me in at short notice, diagnosed and replaced the part by lunch. Very friendly bloke, would recommend.

Fantastic service!Drove from Ambleside to do some shopping in Kendal, smoke was coming from driver side wheel so I called into Gerald Davies as really worried - he knew what the problem was straight away and even better, ordered the part and repaired it that afternoon. Very impressed & grateful - will definitely go back and highly recommend

Long story short, I was due to drive home to Bath yesterday 14/8, suffice to say after filling up in Oxenholme my car would not start. I was recovered to Gerald's garage and it was fixed by 6pm 14/8 and I was on my way at 8.30 this morning.Absolutely bloody amazing and thank you so very much.

Really pleased with the service here..Dave correctly diagnosed an oil contamination issue and fixed it same day with good advice for what's required going forward.A tad on the expensive side I thought but well pleased. Good honest garage!
