We had a clear and precise plan for my dad's funeral which we arranged with a member of the team. On the day of my dad's funeral it was 2 members of staff that had not met with us before. We had informed our funeral planner that we would be walking behind the hearse so it was imperative that the car did not drive off quickly. This was disregarded and the hearse left us behind and not at any point did the driver notice and stop to wait for us. We had people with mobility issues. This is something I cannot get back and to top is all off when I complained to the branch manager she did not even have the decency to call me to let me know how my complaint was being handled.Would never use this company again.

Hannah was extremely helpful and empathetic throughout the whole process, i can not thank Hannah and the team enough for all there assistance and advice in making our loved ones day as special as it could possibly be. i have nothing but admiration for how the team performed there duties on the day, the whole family thanks you

First impressions were good, booked in to arrange my Uncles funeral, lady who took me through the details was very professional and patient as I completed forms etc. We opted for an un-attended creamtion, so that was fully paid for at the time.But that was it - after the intial meeting there was no contact apart from a phone call to say when the Cremation would be. No paperwork, no receipts (apart from a hand-written payment receipt at the time), no further contact apart from a request for a review of services. When their tag-line is With You Every Step Of The Way" seems a bit lacking.Maybe there is more contact with a more expensive cremation

Firstly I must thank Kim for her understanding and compassion at a difficult time. My father past away in August but with various wrangles over his passing it took 6 weeks before his Service. Kim and the Coop team helped me every step of the way. Thank you.

So disappointing. My father died and was buried using the Coop services in Bath January 2018. As the plot already had the head stone for my mother who passed away some years ago, it had to be removed. I was told that it would be 9 months before it could be reinstated with a new engraving and they would contact me after that time had lapsed.It's now 16 months and no one from the Coop have contacted me.My step mother had arranged the funeral with the Coop in Bath but when I contacted them about 10 days ago they said they had no record of his funeral. When I pushed them as I was sure it was the Bath branch, they said they'd look into it and try and ring me back later that day. No one has responded by phone, email or letter. I have had to phone around all the stonemasons in the area to try and locate the original headstone.Eventually I tracked it down and indeed the stonemasons confirmed it was the Coop at Bath and even gave me their reference number.Unbelievably poor help and service in such a sensitive matter.

Received an absolutely appalling service, shown no sympathy or understanding whatsoever, we weren't even offered any condolences for our loss, they left my father at the hospital mortuary over the weekend even though the coroner had released him on the Friday morning, this resulted in us walking out and going to hoopers who were great. I put a complaint in which they failed to deal with for months and I eventually went to their professional organisation who contacted them. We eventually got a feeble response with no sense that they will ensure no one else will go though the same experience. AVOID. I've only given them one star because I had to.

The staff were compassionate, caring and they couldn't do enough to help us. They were always there to help with a friendly face. The funeral went perfectly and we can not thank the staff enough for their compassion and kindness to help us as a family during such a difficult time.

I rang up and got put through to another department , then it hung up on me . So i called back and was given another number that didn't exist , so i then called again and it hung up yet again . I am trying to arrange the funeral of my dad and quite frankly this is unacceptable

The service here was appalling, the family turned up to our first meeting the lady sat down did not introduce herself or express any empathy to us and proceeded to fill in a form like I was applying to open a bank account, unbelievably awful, terrible service, the family walked out we were so appalled and distressed. I wouldn’t let them carry out my pets funeral. Go up the road to Hoopers they were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, Karen and Michelle are a true example of how a funeral should be arranged. We have since been told how many other people have found the service at the Co-op to be unsympathetic, uncaring, and fall well short of what you should expect of a reputable director. I would have given no stars if I could.

I tried to work with this company to erect a monumental stone vase on a grave. I telephoned them as I needed their email address to submit requirements, but the email details I was given by them was incorrect. The Receptionist was far from helpful. Having submitted a request via their website for their email address, clearly they were far too busy to respond. I had always thought Funeral Directors were supposed to be helpful and courteous, clearly not all.
