Very professional caring service.

Care home not fit for purpose. Very dirty and very dated management will ban you if you complain. I have reported them to CQC about excrement in my mother's finger nails and mouldy food under her bed and when I raised concerns they email me and said I was not welcome to vist my mother any more as they will not except criticism. Place smells of urine. I have requested my mother's transfer from this inadequate care facility as I fear for her welfare. Untrained inexperienced staff. Irregular meal times. Not meeting dietary requirements. Patient neglect. No safeguarding in place. Random people walking around without signing in or ID checks prior to entry. 1 star is generous, but no star is not an option. Should be closed down.

I have been delivering training to the staff at The Grove for 2 years and have seen how excellent the delivery of care to the residents has been. The staff show an excellent level of care and understanding of the lifes if residents with dementia and positively encourage a person centred approach to their care
