I have an affinity with this church. My late father sang in the choir when he was a boy. My mum and dad got married in this church and we have maintained Christmas midnight mass here for many many years.

A High Gothic Revival Grade II Listed church circa 1870 featuring a typical Ragstone and ashler exterior.Unusual features include the odd single flying buttress and the “medieval” decorative tracery dominant in the large wheel window.The massive detached Tower harkens back to the earlier 11th.Century, consciously underpinning the eclecticism reflected in the design attributed to James Brooks.The church was closed.An active community here.
