The Car Wash Company Leicester (Highcross)

This used to be a great service, but the last two times have been terrible. All of the staff have changed. Yesterday there was polish left all over my car, and on the windows. Parts of the car were still dirty. When I had the interior done the time before, an air freshener was put in the vents which rattled for a month. I asked if the products used are AutoGlym, and was assured they were, but either that isn't the case or some retraining needs to happen.

Paid £35 for a platinum wash, and its absolutly appalling. Thing being I could tell the car wasn't cleaned properly the 1st time I returned as there was still hair and threads on the seats. So after leaving it and my other half paying for the clean on returning when we got out in the daylight there was still dust on the dashboard dust and easily cleanable debris all over really as well as the windscreen not being cleaned on the exterior. Will not ever use this service again as its as exspensive as a proper valet. The attitude of staff is poor when I pointed out the lack of cleaning they get defensive. The boot also wasnt cleaned the 1st time as they couldnt see the big button to open it on the dashboard (I guess they didnt even look.) Just a very dissapointing service when you compare it to how it was when it 1st opened.

Awful service, rude and they are lying to customers on availability of Silver and Gold packages, forcing people get unnecessary valet.They did a very poor job cleaning the exterior of vehicle leaving mud on inside of wing mirrors and in the grill. Then said they could not access the interior and still tried to charge £25. Highly advise to use other providers nearby

Hello,Just come home from washing my car in your Leicester garage, just to find out that the either the person washing the car next to mine, or the person who onws the car that was parked next to mine, damaged my car while opening the door! My car is one week old and it wasn't like this before I left the car to be washed. Either you take the responsibility for the damage, or you need someone to have a look at the cameras because the owner in need to take responsibility for the damage. This happened between 13:10 and 15:15 today, Saturday 07/03/2020 and my car is a Black Skoda Superb.Updated: More than a year passed and I finally got a reply telling me that the damaged wasn't caused by any of the products they used even though I've stated from the day one that the damaged was caused by the car next to mine.I will never use the company again and will advise everybody to stay way from this company.Had the car for two weeks, got damaged while it was with them and they are not even taking responsibilities for the damage.

£40 for a wash & polish on a small hatchback and didn’t even bother to open doors/boot and do the sills, no attention to detail at all. Complete waste of money, could have done a better job myself. Never felt so ripped off before and therefore not even worth 2 stars

The service itself was ok, but didn’t like the attitude of the ‘site manager’. Very pushy when we just wanted a standard interior/exterior clean but he kept trying to convince us to go up a package- even having the audacity to discount if we ‘can’t afford it’ (his words). I suggest he just does what people ask without trying to upsell.

Exceptionally pushy manager telling us to pay for a more expensive clean. So we did that and then he asked when we would be back I said in around 1.2hrs he said he need 2hrs. Got back around 1,45hrs as I had to leave on emergency. No discount offered and had to pay the full £35 for an outside car wash. None of the interior even touched

2 stars for the outside job but I paid for the diamond service. The boot wasn’t hoovered properly and inside the passenger door had stains of a drink which I thought they would clean up with the diamond service.2nd time I’ve used themAnd the first time was brilliant.They sold me the diamond package saying it would be like brand new.

***Would never use again!!!***I paid a lot of money to have it cleaned inside and outside, I said to the guy that I was happy to have the basic wash inside and outside and he stated that I would be better to go for the one above as a vallet, this it was the platinum one, so I did do.When I arrived back to my car, they had already closed so there was no one there for me to say anything.My car windows inside and outside were all very smeared and the car was not up to expected especially for the amount paid, it wasn't even cleaned inside properly as well.I think this is absolutely appalling and most definitely will not be having it done again.£40.00 is a lot of money to especially have your car cleaned and you would expect a very good job, this was not the case at all.Will never use again!

The lads here did a great job. My car was gleaming and immaculate inside and out when I collected it. It wasn't cheap but I can't fault the value for money. It's in a handy location inside the John Lewis car park, so you can drop it off, do some shopping and collect it after an hour or so.
