Very pleasant staff. Parking was great. We went for the buffet breakfast for 5.99 which was incredibly nice, all the food was of good quality. Would definitely go back again.

Ordered a large carvery and MAC & CHEESE Kids meal delivery via JustEat.Prepared and delivered quickly.Meats were thicker cut and plenty of it but quite dry because its a smaller size joints.Came with loads of vegetables.Gravy was bland and doesn't have any taste of seasoning.Yorkshire pudding were just like your average Tesco store bought.MAC & Cheese was the worst item of this meal, for £5.50 its tiny, it will feed a baby, it wont feed any toddler, I ordered it as a side to my meal. It does come with 2 Yorkshire puddings. Also it has no seasoning and doesn't taste of Cheese, its plain flour in milk!!!!!

Clare was at the entrance and greeted us with a big smile. We had a table booked for 9 people for Sunday lunch.She was very polite and showed us down to our table when the waitress took over.We are always happy with the quality and service here.

Went here for a carvery for dinner with my Mum and Granddad and it was lovely! Been here quite a few times before with my Mum and Granddad, it’s always been our go to carvery for us, even though it’s a little out the way for us. Only issues was the chefs at the carvery station are clearly overwhelmed with the takeaway service they do via Deliveroo, so when we went up to queue it took them a little while to serve us. But personally we all enjoyed it and our waitress Emma was really nice too

Food. Ok but stuffing. Completely dry and over cooked meat. Sparce. Even though we had a extra large plate the meat was very. Little otherwise no other complaints So. Stuffing. Dry meat. Dry. And very little amount. 4 extra large plates. Costing. Nearly 16 each

Went for a staff Christmas dinner.The staff in the bar were friendly and cheerful.We went for an evening meal and as a result the carvery had seen better days.The meat was dry and the veg selection had sat and heated within an inch of its life.The plates were not hot and the Yorkshire puddings were rock hard.On the plus side the meals from the menu that had to be cooked fresh looked much more appealing and was well received by others.The desserts were great and what you would expect.The waitress was attentive with both drink and food orders.I'm sure the carvery would be different if you were to have it much earlier in the day but for an evening meal I would stick to the menu and not have the carvery.There was no background music which would have been a nice touch being near Christmas and would have lifted the atmosphere.

Hey guys, we just received our uber delivery, 2miles away , 2.10 hours time … be nice call us and mention you have delay. Food is ok, but state of it not the best to be honest , if you are ROYAL make things better i guess. Thanks Denis

The service was great the team was very friendly and helpful! All the food except the carveries were fantastic. We have had the carveries lots of times before but it was a bit dry today just due to lack of volume eating it I’m sure. The vegetables were replaced as we came up, but the potatoes and the meat was not as nice as it could have been. Won’t put us off coming again but might not choose the carvery if it’s quiet.

Really lovely place, seriously good food.The only (and I mean only!) Downside was the gendered 'accessible' toilets in the same toilets as the non accessible ones. Unfortunately not only is the fact they are gendered not ideal (what if someone needs support and their support worker is not the same gender?) but they also aren't actually big enough, nor do they have enough turning space for even a small wheelchair like my husband's.The use of a door stop on the door before the main toilet door also made getting Into the toilet hard. I supported him and I had to very awkwardly stand tight in the corner of the cubicle, the chair took up most of the small space, and the emergency pull cord nearly got activated multiple times as it kept getting caught up on the chair itself! Not ideal. Could do with a rethink, or a seperated toilet to be fitted somewhere.That aside, as I said the food was amazing!
