Treated like royalty from the time we walked through the door until we left. We were first greeted by James who took our drink orders after we had several questions regarding various drinks. He was very knowledgeable and drinks served in a timely manner. Then we had the pleasure of meeting CSABA. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and made some tasty recommendations regarding sauces etc. Our food was a absolutely delicious. The dessert menu looking very appealing and won out. 3 of us hot the sticky with caramel and ice cream. We were NOT disappointed!Thank you James and Csaba for making our dinner special.

Food and service was excellent. Very friendly and attentive staff. Cullen skink soup was nice and hearty. Fillet steak was excellent. The tyme and red wine jus sauce was also a highlight and would pick this over the peppercorn sauce next time. I would recommend the sweet potato fries and feta cheese too. The reason for only rating 4 stars is the price, at £65 including tip for one person without any alcoholic drinks or dessert it was rather pricey. For a full 3 course for 2 people and drinks I could see this bill hitting the £200 mark quite easily. On the other hand though you can tell this place only uses the finest produce and pays every attention to detail and has nice presentation so may justify the price for some. Overall I would definitely go back but reserve it for a special occasion only.

Very friendly staff, good seating with views of the bridge. Managed to make fillet very palatable with excellent sides. Peppercorn sauce has a nice kick to it and very flavourful. Desserts were delightful. Gets busy so book yourself a tablet beforehand to avoid disappointment!

We were recommended this place by a tour guide and so glad we went, the food was amazing, some of the best seafood we have ever eaten. We live on an island and eat alot of fresh sea food but this place was exceptional in cooking and presenting the food. We were so happy with our meal we went back the next night and ate here again. The seafood platter starter was the highlight, also the lobster and fillet steak was cooked perfectly. Staff were very welcoming and attentive I can see why they won an award for customer service.

This place was something else! They were very busy but we were able to book later for a late table.The food was mind blowing, we got a massive selection as we couldn't decide what we wanted. Seafood platter, goatcheese mousse, ham hough, oysters. Mains included surf and turf (halibut and pigeon), ribeye and sides. We also got desserts to take home which were divine.I need to give a massive shout out to the staff, the service simply was amazing. Elise and Nicki our servers were charismatic and knowledgeable about any questions we had. And the bartender Sharice made me a perfect after dinner cocktail that I loved.It's worth the money and the time if you have it. A wonderful dining experience.

A popular restaurant, and on a warm June evening it was busy, so we were glad we had booked. Unfortunately, one of the major selling points, the lobster, was not available. I wish we had been told, either in the queue outside or when seated, as this was quite a big disappointment. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, but the food was overpriced, considering the quality. The oysters, in particular were small, dry and a little tired looking, and for £34 I would have expected my steak to be rather less chewy and more flavoursome. The loud music and cramped seating didn’t help the experience. Some of the food was quite nice but overall did not justify the price.

The vibe is elegant with tartan modern decor. The Sunday roast dinner was the most outstanding meal . The Yorkshire pudding was perfectly light with a complete of gourmet gravy . The presentation was provincial Scotland with copper accents. Staff was attentive and welcoming. Highly recommended!!!

We were really happy to be seated without a reservation (we were early on a Sunday night) and the food was especially delicious! The service was good but just a tad slow and the noise from the bar was very loud which made it a tad hard to talk together.Mostly it was really yummy!

Had a great experience here last night.Delicious seafood board. Love the mussels with smoke Tabasco stock. Staff are friendly,helpful. Always with a lovely smile face when she checking on our table to make sure everything is fine. A big big thanks to Elise.
