I just cycled by, but it is possible to cross the road to the actual statue, it's at the entrance to the old RM museum.

Didn’t actually visit the museum was only able to appraise the architecture and the superb statue of a Falkland soldier. There appears to be a fort and an impressive barracks in impeccable condition.

Based on the famous photo of the Royal Marine marching into Stanley.Being a Falklands Veteran, Royal Navy, I always had the greatest respect for “The Bootnecks.”It’s a bit of a walk along the front, from the other attractions, but worth the walk.

Outstanding memorial overlooking the Solent for everyone to view. Either by passing by in a car, parking up and walking across to see close up and take photos. The Yomper can't be missed. Enjoy! He's free to view. Apart from when parking metres are in operation.
