Wonderful coffee, pastries and sourdough bread. Bonus that it’s dog friendly too

Genuinely a highlight every time we go there, and we shop there a lot. Lovely staff, gorgeous coffee and pastries and excellent local hub for getting some quality (also European) ingredients, refills for soap and oil etc., and even flowers. These guys are brilliant!!

Genuinely so glad to have this store just down the road. The do the best coffee and hot chocolate, and we really love the range of fresh cheese, delicious bread (including gluten free) and the refill section is brilliant. I also appreciate that they let well behaved dogs in the store, it makes life a lot easier when out with pup. Thank you!

An abundant selection of gourmet, artisanal products from generally small batch brands- the variety and quality of all the jams/ preserves, sauces, cheeses, kombucha, frozen produce etc. is impeccable! Look forward to exploring more of their wares! Ultra friendly staff too!!!!

I’ve been shopping at Penge General Store for yonks but never got around to leaving a review. It is a lovely, stylish shop - selling freshly baked goods, nice coffee, good wines, fresh produce, lots of vegan goodies, cheese, yogurts, fresh pasta and ice-cream and lots of really high-quality store cupboard items - like hot sauces, spices, tinned fish and the like. They also sell fancy chocolates, as well as low-packaging cleaning products. The focus is on quality, artisan and independent goods so it is by no means cheap but everything I’ve ever brought from here has been very tasty indeed. Have had really friendly service from the women who work here too!

Seems like a great store, had a nice look around and they have a good variety on offer. Coffee was amazing and a great price.

You don't have to be grumpy to work here but it helps.You stock good products, have good coffee, but I'm done going in here because of the sass. Just be nice to people.
