All Saints

All Saints' is a traditional stone rural Suffolk church located beside an isolated lay-by surrounded by arable fields, on the main road on the outskirts of Ixworth Thorpe. The building is notable for some very characteristic architectural features, in particular the short wooden tower, red-brick porch, & black thatched roof. All Saints has a small, grassy churchyard with some old gravestones dotted around in the shelter of mature deciduous trees. It's obviously a very old, historic site, so a shame that it's now closed as a church.
