Boxcar Baker & Deli
Went there for brunch on Saturday and it was super nice. Would recommend booking as it gets very busy. We tried the scrambled eggs with avocado and rolled croissant, which was amazing! The eggs cooked to perfection. We also took the famous rolled pain au chocolates which did not disappoint! Staff a bit slow but st least we were not rushed. Can’t wait to go again xx

A breakfast place which leaves a lot to be desired.First the good stuff - the almond crossiant is a winner.Now the bad - the waffle was lukewarm, didn't feel freshly made, more like warmed up with salmon on top. From a perspective of presentation it cheated and deceived my taste buds much to my disappointment.Coming to the crossiant with eggs and avocado, this was decent. The roll had a lovely crunch and layered taste to it. Eggs were cooked fairly well, surprisingly the table didn't have any condiments.Overall, I would not go back for breakfast, maybe... the almond crossiant if I am in the area. Onwards and upwards.

The food is good. All of the pastries and coffees are a delight. I’ve had breakfast and lunch a few times there already.I’ve noticed the service is not what it used to be. You can tell the employees have just way too much work for the amount of staff. I noticed a couple of times a waitress being scolded by another one (she was so angry) in a very unprofessional way, in front of everyone, making her and us uncomfortable. Looks like the employees are not being taken care of, or at least that’s my perspective.

Coffee was horrible ( taste, milk, temperature )Pastries were exceptional ( pain au chocolat & cinnamon bun )Waffle and smoked salmon wasn’t bad - same as the scramble eggs.Service is impersonal and indifferent as you order from your phone.Prices are ok for the area.Plenty of space outside.

genuinely good coffee, pastries are familiar but have something extra to make them interesting/different and the place is rarely empty so the atmosphere almost always has a good hum to it. Space to work here as well so it’s a very efficiently used space for a lot of different “use cases” (working, chilling with friends, coffee chats, breakfast etc…).

Great spot for a weekend brunch. Plenty of people watching and great location. Lots of seating available. The breakfast offering is plenty and delicious. Matcha was a little bitter compared to other venues

A lovely spot for brunch and/or coffee. Seating available inside our outside. Pet friendly. The breakfast is really tasty, good portions. The pastries are really good too, get there early if you want to try their famous croissants.

Boxcar is a delightful spot to enjoy a relaxing latte with some of London's most delicious treats. The service is outstanding, especially considering how trafficked the location can get: the baristas will always smile at you and serve you right away.I particularly recommend the Almond croissant, which really felt like a work of art: crunchy on the outside yet soft on the inside, it was a delicacy to taste accompanied by a Matcha Latte!

Perfect cafe in the neighbourhood. Cosy. Be aware.. laptops not allowed on tables.. only at the high chair bar area alongside the front window.
