Me and my mum have been to many different paranormal events with about 5 different companies now- this one was the worst by far.Our facilitator was unfriendly and didn’t know anything about the building we were investigating (Beau Maris Gaol). Me and my mum actually knew more about the ghosts and the history than the facilitators because we had chatted to the tour guides who worked there earlier that day.The paranormal equipment consisted of cat balls and an emf reader. There was no oujii boards, table tipping, spirit boxes, or any other equipment.There was also no variety in activities. We sat in different cells for four hours doing the same activity (the facilitator calling out and telling us there was something in there with us when no one else could see anything).This is the first event we’ve actually left early because we were so bored. The other half of our group left about an hour before us because they weren’t having a good time either and they had driven 4 hours to get to the event.The other facilitators seemed nice, but the lady who led our group was unfriendly, made no effort to chat with any of us, and was trying to influence all of our interpretations of the night, not really allowing us to make our own minds up.Overall the event was disorganised and boring. We know that paranormal activity is not always going to happen, and that’s totally fine, but the night can still be fun if it properly planned and structured with activities and interesting history of the building- none of which was provided.I feel like this was not worth £50 per person as there was barely any facilitation or organisation. will not be doing another event with haunted rooms.

Had a great night at Borwick Hall on Friday night. Our hosts were fantastic. We got to try a wide range of things. The yes/no table was brilliant. We had a lot of response with the balls, Teddy and I think they were called pendulums. Our hosts stayed the night with us and considering they only got a few hours sleep, they were bright and chirpy the next morning. In Some rooms we didn't get much activity but I guess that can be expected. Will definitely book again. Might even book one in Scotland so we can meet them again, hopefully they will be there. We joined Haunted Rooms for an investigation on Saturday 19th August at Stanley Palace in Chester. James, Chris and Dan hosted the event and were lovely. They guided us through the evening but were also happy to let us investigate how we liked to. The venue was amazing and I'll most definitely book another event with them soon! Thank you

I recently went to the Tolhouse in Great Yarmouth with my dad and brother and had a great time, we got more activity than expected. We were in a group with a guy called Jay, who was amazing and kept checking on all of us, he made sure everyone was comfortable doing all the activities. Everyone else there was also lovely including the psychic medium who helped me using my spirit box. I would 100% go again.

0 stars. Went to an event in March and it was the biggest rip off of my life. Event organisers were dry and useless, rolling cat toys around and talking to each other about what to lie about. I complained and was offered a chance to visit tonight. When I messaged them about it yesterday they fobbed me off and ignored my emails. I have actually been looking forward to it since March which was stupid of me because it is the worst run company I've ever come across. Who charges £55 per person for a seal bar and lukewarm warm coffee?

Me and my friend had a wonderful night at Croxteth Hall 31/10/23. Particular thanks to Gareth who was a fabulous guide. The house is steeped in so much history. I loved every minute of the experience.First time with Haunted Rooms. Will definitely be doing more ghost hunts with this company. Very professional. Thank you again.

Went to Belgrave Hall Saturday night, had a fabulous night although there wasn’t a load of activity we still left knowing things happened! The group who ran it were lovely, made me feel at ease and got the place going!Give a good selection of things to do, equipment, human pendulum, ouija boards, table tipping etc! I’ll definitely be booking again with haunted rooms

Had a great experience with haunted rooms, they was very welcoming and professional, so honest about what can happen and what might not happen, we had an amazing guide, very funny made us feel very comfortable, amazing location was abit gutted we couldn’t use the cellar but no fault of there own. I am looking forward to booking my next paranormal adventure

I did last night's ghost investigation at the Ancient Ram Inn with your team. And I just wanted to personally leave a review with yourselves as we had a brilliant time, there was so much activity and the property lived up to its name, but also, we are so grateful for having Jaye as our team leader, he was amazing, and he went above and beyond for us. This is our first time doing a tour with yourselves and was the first time for some of our group doing anything like this and Jaye was so welcoming, friendly, patient and reassuring to us. He guided us so well to what we could ask and which direction to go in, but also was so lovely when some of us had experiences to calm us down or bring us back to a happier level and always asked throughout the whole night if we were okay after seeing that we had had a big encounter. With one of our friend, who suffers with panic attacks, he was comforting to her and helped her control her breathing, he was just amazing, and he really did make our experience. We are looking to come back soon and do the sleepover as this one was fully booked last night and would love to have Jaye guide us again.Thank you for a good night and we will see you all again soonAbbie Stanley
