Had a lovely midweek meal out. All of our meal was beautifully made and wonderfully fresh. I really loved that there were traditional pub options with options for things a little more unusual. I ended up with a kabab, which was amazing. My partner had hunters chicken, which he enjoyed.All the staff were really friendly, and welcoming. And the cocktails were delicious too.We will be going again!

Quick one night stay for work the following day. The staff was very nice. My room was in a separate block f4om the main building, but that was fine. Dinner and breakfast were good. Parking easy. Will use this facility again when in the area.

A bit disappointed with the burger. Meat is a bit over cooked even I ordered medium. Fried sweet potatoes is great but had better. Dessert looks ok but too hot and a bit too sweet that I cannot finish it all. Nice place though.

Had a veggie roast dinner. Decent amount of food and good quality. Couldn't fault it for the money.Had Apple & Cherry crumble again tasty and excellent value.Overall good food at a decent price. Very happy!

Stayed at the Bear Inn for 3 nights and had a great experience.The location and accommodation was fantastic, just where we wanted to be in Somerset.The pub itself is big with plenty of seating. Food, including breakfast, was good and run well, especially by Hayley, who was excellent.Definitely worth a visit.

We needed to find a place to get some quality food after having been to woodies hole ..bit of a trek, but it's totally worth it.Yummy starters, beautifully presented and so moreishThe mains were filling, full of flavour. Needed more gravy and hard to get staff once they went, but it was still great.The cocktails were made with love. All at great prices. Would definitely visit again.

All 3 courses were lovely. Great vegan food. Very pleasant service. This is our third Christmas meal here in a row. This one was the best! See you next year! xxx

Hi, great evening, dining with friends, on Tuesday 12 December 2023. The evening was made better by the assistance of our server (Laura), who helped with our order, menu choices, festive fare even though we had not pre ordered. She was attentive to our needs throughout the evening although not intrusive. A lovely evening, good atmosphere and excellent food, made better by the presence of Laura. I will recommend the Bear to friends and family and will visit again.

We can't thank the staff enough for being really accommodating and friendly to us. We have a dog who is reactive to other dogs and they did their best to sit us away from other people which meant we could enjoy our food in peace which is a rarity! The food was super yummy, a brilliant start to our holiday
