Requested a viewing on a property 3 weeks ago, they said that they would check with seller to confirm a time and get back to me. Never heard anything. Called them on Tuesday this week, booked a time for 4.45 today, was told that they would only contact back if a problem with booking. Arrived today for viewing and no one showed up. Definitely won’t be attempting to arrange another viewing. I feel sorry for the vendor selling the property. No wonder it’s still on the market. Lovely house was very keen but put off completely dealing with shoddy estate agents!!! -1 service

I looked at two different houses with two different reps from Davies Homes. Emma and Ashley were both extremely professional. Although it was the end of the day and they must have been tired neither showed it. They were both engagingly and informative with lots of information on the properties. I thoroughly recommend them.

Absolutely terrible, disgusting. In short, my flat was in a terrible condition when moving in, and they almost never answered my emails regarding those issues.I moved into a flat provided by Davies, and the initial condition was horrendous. Here are some of the issues. I don't keep all the photos, but I would like to share some of them.- The floor was clearly not hoovered, covered with dirt.- Most blinds were filthy with stains.- Water was leaking at the kitchen, resulting many slugs around!- Shower was heavily leaking, and it was cold.- Dryer didn't work.I emailed them about those issues numerous times, but most of the times they never replied. Therefore, I needed to call numerous times as well, which was really draining as I often had to chase them too. I can never recommend Davies, or I would go so far as to say the business shouldn't exist.

Review of Davies Homes: Extremely DisappointingMy experience with Davies Homes has been nothing short of a nightmare. I must say that they are by far the worst agency I have ever dealt with. Not only did they fail to provide a satisfactory level of service, but they also engaged in unprofessional and dishonest practices.Firstly, upon moving out of my apartment, I ensured that it was in impeccable condition. I went above and beyond by deep cleaning every corner, including the toilets, kitchen, all rooms, and even shampooing the carpet. Despite my efforts, Davies Homes refused to return my full deposit, without providing any legitimate justification. It is deeply frustrating to be accused of negligence when I took every possible measure to leave the apartment in pristine condition.Furthermore, the presence of mold in their apartments is a serious issue that Davies Homes conveniently overlooks. Instead of taking responsibility for the mold problem, they shamelessly shift the blame onto the tenants. This kind of false accusation not only undermines their credibility but also highlights a lack of accountability on their part.Overall, my experience with Davies Homes has been extremely disappointing. Their unprofessional conduct, false accusations, and refusal to return my full deposit have left a lasting negative impression. I strongly advise anyone considering renting from them to proceed with caution, as they have shown a complete disregard for their tenants' well-being and satisfaction.

Dreadful agency, run by compulsive liars, particularly Rhiannon, the lettings manager.When we moved into the property we were promised new blinds had been ordered for the spare room. When we moved out a year later, they still hadn’t been fitted. I happened to be in the property when they did the viewings for the next tenant, the first viewer asked about new blinds in the spare room and Rhiannon responded that she’d order them when she got back to the office. When the second viewer looked in the spare room she said new blinds had already been ordered.Took the agent 2 months to fix a leak in the kitchen and had to end up chasing them to fix this issue as we had enough of making our dinner in wellies!They made deductions from our deposit for “cleaning” even though we undoubtedly left the property in better conditions than it was when we moved in and we provided invoices when questions. Maybe the state of the carpets are due to the leak that was left for 2 months…?I could go on, but I think the message is clear - to avoid if possible!

Very quick to progress my application and get me into the property. Full deposit returned hassle free.Issues (such as property condition) prevented me giving Davies Homes five stars but the company were fair in addressing these issues.The company seemed quite young during my tenancy and I'm sure these are issues the company will prevent as they become more established.

Booked a viewing at a property in Gowerton, guess what…….the estate agent didn’t turn up, I contacted them and they had the audacity to say that they tried contacting my wife (they didn’t leave a message)A very unprofessional lady with a limited telephone manner spun a cocktail of lies.Won’t be dealing with them again and I’ll be sure to tell everyone of my experience -10Staff training required ASAP

Spoke to Ashley regarding a property in marcroft rd and was told there is nothing in the area even though it was on their site and when i questioned him he said it will take a few weeks to come off their website didnt even ask if there was any other area i was interested in couldnt wait to get off the phone, terrible, unprofessional and extremely not bothered, Worst estate agent I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Avoid at all costs. They should be shut down, takes ages to answer the phone aswell, it wouldnt let my give a zero rating lowest was 1 star what they don't deserve

Davies homes sold my property very quickly and only charge the fraction of the cost that the big companies charges. Brilliant communication throughout the whole process. They also manage a rented property for me and I couldn’t be happier with the service. It’s amazing that local companies can deliver excellent service with competitive prices. Thank you to everyone at Davies Homes.
