Took my car in on Monday as I was having a few engine issues, which couldn’t be identified by a previous garage and the problem was fixed same day. Professional and timely work, would highly recommend!

I left my transit van there for it's annual mot & instruction to make any necessary repairs, the vehicle was left in their possession for 3 days.This was done to my satisfaction.BUT, When I went to collect the vehicle it was parked with the nearside parked close to a wall I accept that this is a convenient place to park.Upon arriving home and parking in my driveway it became very evident that damage had been done to the nearside door & sill, in fact there was still loose flakes of white paint resting on the black sill.I immediately rang the garage, & returned for them to inspect the damageI spoke to Dean, the owner he looked at the damage, took a photo & said they would check their video cameras, presumably the cameras would also show any damage already there, This was important as the vehicle had been off the premises for a road test. We shook hands & drove off, he came accross as a nice enough bloke so I had no worries.However upon returning to the premises I was referred to Sarah, who I believe is his partner.She flatly refused to acknowledge that their fault, said the damage was old, despite the loose flakes of paint still on the sill, despite the lack of rust showing on the freshly exposed bate metal.She refused to inspect the vehicle herself.She refuses to answer any emails or telephone calls.I have seen no video evidence of existing damage when the vehicle was left parked outside their door opposite one of their cameras. But then she does enjoy a certain reputation of-well there is no polite word!I am the only driver of this vehicle,The damage is relatively mine, but blatenly obvious, there is no way that I would not have noticed it beforehand.Without doubt this damage was caused while in their custody,The damage is quite minor, i have no reason to lie or manufacture the situation.I do not understand their reluctance to confront the probable or re-inspect the damage together.I am self employed myself, used to dealing with the public & I am very reluctant to vilify a family bussiness but I feel I have no choice.AVOID, Take your bussiness elsewhere or at the very least carefully inspect your vehicle before & after entrusting it in their care.I notice they are part of an organisation that has an independant ombudsman... Well the vehicle has not moved since this incident, it is available for examination.Thank you for taking the time to read this lengthy post.....

Highly recommend Dean and team ! Easy process from booking the car in to collecting it exactly when arranged! (Even earlier sometimes !) Very knowledgeable, my family have also now converted to using there !

Great firm, nothing too much trouble. Having travelled from Oxfordshire for the football they checked my tyre pressure without hesitation just before they closed, will definitely use them again when back in the area.

I have been taking my cars to Dean and his family for years. They are professional, reliable and honest. These guys really go the extra mile when it comes to customer service and I would recommend to anyone.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to fit me in on the day I called with a problem. It was a weekend and my usual garage was closed. They also fixed the issue straight away and my car is running so smoothly now. I will be going here from now on.
