My parents bought an offcut from here for the main bedroom. The room was measured twice by 2 different people (both engineers by trade) and an offcut of sufficient dimensions was purchased. The carpet fitters brought the carpet and fitted it and it turned out to be cut/measured wrong and tapers away from the skirting gradually during the length up to 3 inches. The fitter was rude and informed us we had measured the room incorrectly so we either had to put up with it or pay for him to join it with a spare piece. We declined and did it ourselves. Bad customer service. Only positive was a reasonable price for the offcut.

Excellent service and prompt installation. The installers were fantastic and did an excellent job. The quality of the carpets and cost is very good compared to major carpet shops. This is the second time we have purchased from North Street Carpets and Beds. We would certainly go back to them and recommend them as a tried and trusted supplier.

Had my entire house carpeted and laminate flooring downstairs. Took two days to complete once it was booked in. Took me a while to measure the house to get a rough idea of cost but they came and measured everything to be sure. There was an issue with one of the laminate planks with some kind of weird stain and a section of carpet wasnt being gripped by my patio doors. After alerting Johnny to this they came back and sorted it in a few weeks as promised. Apart from those snags the whole process was smooth. Fitters were professional and polite and worked very hard over the two days. Young Johnny was a bit rough round the edges - could do with a few lessons on customer service. Though I wont say he wasnt helpful. Its just the way he comes across. Maybe thats an Essex thing? Thank you guys. Would recommend to friends. All in, it came to approx 3k less than the well known big high st carpet brand..carpet wrong ;-)

Well happy.. firstly sorted out a little under floor storage lid area and secondly made good an area that needed it. I like it anyway.

We went to North St carpets Romford for our new carpet. Grumpy and Happy (they know who they are) fitted it. They both did a great job, completely professional. Thank you lads, will be going back to them in the future.

We went to this carpet place based on reviews and was very happy with there service great custom and resealable prices, had a carpet fitted in a small bedroom and the fitter done a grand job he was professional polite and very friendly, we are truly impressed with the end result and will be going back for more rooms to be done

Brilliant service from start to finish. We went into the shop a few days before Xmas and they acted efficiently, booking us in for the first working day back after Xmas break, which was great.Gary fitted all 4 rooms quickly and perfectly. Very pleased with Vinyl flooring for our bathroom. Also paid for the fitting. Good price and the fitting was quick and professional. Will definitely use this company again if we need to change our flooring.
