T A Irving Veterinary Surgery

Where to even start, we took our cat here to be neutered, this was Tuesday, by Sunday we were at the emergency vet as her wound was weeping pus and she was not eating or drinking, told us she has an infection, that looks like it was caused by non sterilised equipment, so after forking out nearly £300 for anti biotics and blood work we take her home, i emailed Irving to complain, heard nothing, its clear they dont care about animals and only money, every time i go in the staff appear to have some issue with me, always give off a cant be bothered" attitude. after being with this vet for 30 years i will now be taking my animals elsewhere. absolutely disgusting"

Great service, we’re able to top up my new puppy’s vaccinations without question. I’ve moved to this vet for both dogs now, as my previous vet (park vet, run by CVC) wanted to restart the vaccination program which just sounded really dodgy to me. They also offer a cheaper pet club subscription. I’m looking forward to improved care for my two doggies!

We'd heard good things about Irvings, tbh mainly price, and left Vets for Pets when our old dog died to register our new puppy along with our mother in laws new rescue dog. After a year we have decided to return both our pets to VfP, the main reason is we both believe the personal touch is none existent at Irvings, and price difference is negligible. Reception at VfP is far superior, friendlier and the vet nurses and doctors themselves are much more personable. In no way would I say that the vet services are bad, it's just how we were made to feel when we were there.

Have been Taking my Cat to another Vet,not happy with Service and Taxi Driver recommended Irving Vets. Made an appointment been today and sorry I hadn't heard of them 12 months ago. Lovely Sand Friendly Staff. Highly recommend them.

Excellent as always, give comfort to me and my family when facing periods of uncertainty and do their best to accommodate you when busy. Very grateful for your genuine caring services and friendly faces.

Absolutely wonderful vets and the staff have been amazing with our 9wk puppy! They’re so knowledgeable and answered every question I had as an over cautious first time puppy owner. Daisy loved all the attention and was super comfortable!

If I could give this place 0 I most definitely would. This vets had treated our dogs cancer from start to finish to the point where she was suffering so we made the difficult decision to put her to sleep. The whole event was made to be 100x more distressing as our beautiful girl had only been gone five minutes, we were all sat around her when a female vet/veterinary nurse (not the vet who administered the injection) actually had the decency to come in the room with a CARD MACHINE!!!! The room where we were all devastated crying and holding our dog. She said ‘do you want to pay this now so you don’t have to do it later’ no sorry for your loss nothing not even a smile. So incredibly insensitive & I can see now they are only bothered about money. Other vets around the bury area allow you to pay at a slightly later date so you don’t have to think about it but this place? No, money is more important clearly. You failed us & I will never be bringing any of my animals here again. The people of the practice also had 0 respect for what was actually happening as the reception was so noisy when it should of been quiet whilst we had to deal with this incredibly distressing event. Most places light a candle or make people aware.

Fantastic team and superb service everytime, been coming here since 2007 and would highly recommend to anyone looking for the best care for their furry friends, thank you for all your care and support over the years and the many more to come

I have been going to this vets now for over 14 years, with all of my fur babies, and I have to say that they are absolutely outstanding from the girls at reception to the vets themselves, shout out to Lauren who is always so lovely and compassionate, highly recommend and wouldn’t take my babies anywhere else !
