Summer Johnston Photography

Summer did our little girls newborn photo shoot and I cannot thank her enough! The photos are beautiful, and they are exactly what we wanted.The whole shoot was wonderful, Summer made us feel super relaxed which isn’t easy as a first time mum with a 7 day old! The photos were just perfect. We did some photos in her studio and some outside and they have all just turned out perfectly. The hardest part what deciding which photos we wanted!We will definitely be back for more photos! Would highly recommend Summer.

Absolutely superb photographer!I went to Summer’s studio with my 5 week old baby (very easy to find!) and was welcomed with such warmth. Summer was amazing with my baby and she made me feel at ease throughout our session.The photographs were gorgeous; so much, that I struggled to choose which ones I wanted in my package. I received my prints today and I’m over the moon - they’re just beautiful! Stunning work. Wow, what can I say! I was so anxious about my very first branding photoshoot (to the point where I cancelled it twice and very seriously considering cancelling it a third time!) Little did I know I had absolutely nothing to worry about.Summer was absolutely incredible with me from start to finish, so patient, friendly and relaxed and really helped to ease me into my shoot. She was full of fabulous ideas to really bring out the best of me and help me get some fantastic shots for my website and social media.The turnaround time for receiving my Gallery was super fast and Summer was a true professional from start to finish. She really knew her stuff and I loved that she made me feel like a superstar for the day and nothing was too much trouble.I don't actually have the words to describe how I felt when I saw the images Summer had captured for me. They are absolutely beautiful and so perfectly capture the true essence of me - and my daughter who is integral to my business. So many truly magical moments captured that I will remember and cherish forever.I would 100% recommend Summer and we will definitely be working together again very soon. I'm already planning my next shots ;-)

We recently had Graduation photos taken of my eldest son. Summer was very professional and is clearly a talented photographer. She has a relaxed and friendly style with a modern set up in her own home. Summer has a wonderful manner and put my son at ease and made sure he was relaxed. The photos were brilliant with a selection sent through the same day. We would definitely recommend Summer and would use her again for all our photography needs.

I would highly recommend Summer for any photography. She has captured fabulous photographs of my little girl over the past 4 and a half years … she just knows the right angle, timing and always makes her feel at ease.

I booked Summer when my daughter was 6 months old at a baby sensory class and the pictures she took were so beautiful and fun. Now my daughter is 14 months old I just had to book her again at her own studio and she did not disappoint. With Summer's very relaxed vibe, my daughter was comfortable instantly and smiled the whole way through the shoot. The images came back less then a week later and they are absolutely stunning.The only issue I now have is for which images to choose.

I can't recommend Summer enough! I've gone to her at least 4/5 times in the past 2 years and every time she doesn't disappoint. She's efficient, fast & detailed in her work, fantastic with babies/kids; and moreso as a person is lovely to chat to. I have been to other reknown photography studios prior to meeting Summer, and let me tell you that she is so much better! Will I continue going to her? Most definitely in a heartbeat.
