Two days ago , Miss Federica paid us a visit which we were lucky to have. She was a Charming, kind and beautiful lady well presented and professional in all aspects .She was very attentive and gave attention to all our complaints and offered solutionsShe tried her best to help us in our situation and was happy to do so.She does her job with passion and love which shows in her attitudeShe was well mannered and friendly and sympathised with our situationSince My dad who is 77 years of age finds it extremely difficult to climb the 33 step stairs we currently haveAlso my mum who had hernia surgery in the past and another due to climbing up these stairs also has two slipped discsMiss Federica listened to all these issues and promised us a plan which fits our needs. To sum up my review Miss Federica has been so much co-operative and myself , dad and mum were pleased to have herWe wish her all the best in her career

My parents live in Soho Housing flat and I deal with the association on their behalf. Over the years the service has been up and down to say the least. It seems to depend on current housing manager, and there have been many of those. Their current housing manager- Niall Bramley - was really helpful with the issue they have been trying to resolve for a long time. He is polite, organized, actually calls back and is keen to understand and resolve any issue as quickly as possible. We hope he stays in the job for a long time.

I feel like I need to take a restraining order from this HA. 1st they wouldn’t answer emails for literarily 6 months to a year. Then they get in decent housing officers team, but different teams stop communicating although they sit in the same bloody room - in just over 12 months I was threatened with eviction twice although I am repaying my arrears as calculated by the UC what I can afford and Soho HA agreed on, and then they send me court papers when arrears are already significantly reduced and being paid directly from the universal credit. I thought living in temporary accommodation was tough. That was until I moved to Soho HA permanent accommodation. I should have run for the hills when about 6 weeks after moving in suddenly my door was opened from the outside and an employee from Soho HA walked in with a crowd of people stating that this property should be vacant. After she ushered potential residents viewing already taken property, I had to pull out my papers to prove who I was and show my rent agreement and she left stating ‘no one told me about this’, which should be an official motto of this housing association. Go for Peabody, A2 Dominion or Dolphin HA and avoid this mess of an association at all costs, unless you want to loose remaining functioning twenty nerve cells and needing regular xanax thanks to the distress inflicted by this incompetent bunch - there’s zero communication between the departments. I am embarrassed to call myself Soho HA tenant and I wish I stayed with A2 Dominion in my temporary accommodation because last 12 months in this permanent accommodation were way worse than 10 years in the temp. There’s a serious issue at the root of this organisation which was not solved by hiring new excellent housing officers. Repairs are being done at the price of tenants having to prove via Moses Jesus and Mohammed that universal credit is paying rent and rent arrears to Soho HA. But apparently, and according to court papers point 3 clause (c) ‘Any unpaid rent or charge for use and occupation should be calculated at £26.36 per day’ which is certainly not a rate mentioned anywhere in the tenancy agreement but is pulled out of thin air. The tenancy agreement, however, states that ‘The Association agrees Not to interrupt or interfere with the Tenant’s right peacefully to occupy the premises except we’re2(i) access is required, to inspect the condition of the premises (including a safety check of gas appliances) or to carry out repairs or other works to the Premises or adjoining property; or2 (ii) the association is entitled to possession at the end of the Tenancy’Go figure..

Let me tell you something, after having many housing officers come and go, I must say that our current housing officer is amazing; she will visit you if you have problems, she communicates very well, and she takes the time to listen to your concerns. Feredica I hope you keep up the good work and that Soho Housing recognises you as an outstanding housing officer.Thank you for visiting our street.

By far the best Housing Officer at Soho Housing in my experience is Niall Bramley. The depth of care and the regard for a tenant’s welfare is unsurpassed by anyone else I’ve ever worked with at Soho. When a housing officer cares that you should live in dignity in your housing, that says a lot about the calibre of person you’re working with. Follows up quickly on repair flags and follows up again upon completion. I am very grateful to and for this young man!

My elderly mother lives in a block managed by Michelle Thorney and she is fantastic. My mother is elderly and I worry about her living on her own. But Michelle always goes above and beyond to rectify any issues we have and checks in on my mother regularly which I really appreciate.

The five star rating I have given is specifically for Federica and *not* for Soho as a whole. Federica is an asset to the Soho team. She has only been my Housing Officer for a short period but has already improved my experience as a tenant, listened to my concerns and swiftly actioned changes. She is highly efficient and effective at her job. Thank you Federica!
