West Grove Barns Holiday Cottages

This is an excellent place to spend a week. The premises cater for dogs. We were a party of three couples,all over 60 and a couple of 80 years. There were 5 dogs, all of whom knew each other. Lovely view over Pembroke river, adequate parking for our 3 vehicles.Very clean on arrival, very good kitchen, more than expected, nice dining area. The lounge is a large glass sided building, humans loved it. We took covers for the 3 seater settee and three chairs the dogs loved that as well. . It caters for dogs, and the furniture reflects that, I would not expect a £2000 settee to sit on and if you book this property please bear this in mind. To me it was great, I got what it said on the tin. The internet went down half way through the week, happens down here sometimes. Didn't tell the owner until Friday before we went home, he was a very sympathetic gentlemen and not his fault, just one of those things. Plenty to do within short distances, would recommend these cottages wholeheartedly. Dave Morris

A beautiful cottage overlooking the Estuary.Spotlessly clean.Great location.A warm welcome with milk in the fridge, tea tray and welcome basket for the dogs.Could do with a new sofa and chair in ASH cottage (springs have gone).Beautiful meal at the local pub just up the road (Highgate Inn Hotel).Would absolutely stay again!

What an amazing place with beautiful views, Dog friendly Our 4 Boston terriers loved it , not far from a pub, great country lanes and paths to walk down,

This is the third time we have stayed at the west grove barn cottages. We love it. They have made some improvements since my last visit. All for the better. And this time we was welcomed by a nice doggy basket that had 2 towels, poo bags and treats and 2 bowls in. Its always so clean and welcoming.The views are great of the tidle way we actually walked down to it this time and that i would not recommend. We come back extremely muddy. Thankfully we have a karcher oc3 in the car. But that still does not put us off the fact this is a great place to stay. We will be using this for a forth, fifth and sixth visit and more.We love the beaches in wales. And are so close to some its perfect.Thanks again west grove barns. Amazing

Lovely place. Secluded. Lovely walks. Cottage well equipped.

Fantastic location. It is central to anywhere in Pembroke and beyond. The chalet is roomy and has fantastic views of the estuary. As nce and quiet as you wish to make it. Had a great time!

Very lovely little cottages, though we did have a couple of large problems. WiFi is advertised, though it is temperamental at best and non existent at worst. I understand this is not exclusively their fault (they include information about a recent visit from bt in the visitors information book), but still think that they should not be advertising the facility as having WiFi. The second big problem was the beds; whilst neat and clean, the mattresses are incredibly uncomfortable, leading to one of us having to sleep on the sofa, and the rest of us barely getting a good sleep. Apart from that, the property is in wonderful condition and is peaceful, with great views and a very relaxed feel. Once the WiFi and mattresses are sorted, I would be very happy to stay here again.

Could not fault this place. Fully equipt with everything you need for self catering. Lovely location. Dogs enjoyed the stay aswell. Good base for exploring the surrounding places.
