Jan has done a lovely alteration upcycling and breathing new life into my old antique curtains making both valances and cushions. The attention to detail was fantastic and all before Christmas! So pleased I have found her skilled services. Would definitely recommend.

Jan worked a miracle on a tear in the cover of my sofa. I'd had the sofa 20 years but it was in really good condition and I wanted it to go to a charity shop when my new sofa arrived. The charity shop refused to take it when they heard it had a tear. I couldn't bear to put it in a skip. Jan rescued it beautifully and in super-quick time. Can't recommend her highly enough.

Jan did a brilliant job transforming a dress I bought second hand to actually fit me by changing the neck line and sleeves. She took her time to get the design and fitting just right. She altered a waistcoat to be more fitted and elegant, hemmed some trousers and repaired a favourite skirt. Highly skilled, professional, reasonably priced and such a lovely person. Thank you Jan.

Jan was fantastic! I had some dresses I needed altering for work which she was able to do for me all in the same day. I called 9:30am on a Saturday morning and they were dropped off, pinned, altered and ready to collect by 3pm. I could not recommend Jan more and will definitely be calling on her services in the future.

Jan made a super job of taking up our curtains and smartening them up. She also fitted a heavy zip to my husband’s jacket and he’s very please. I would recommend you don’t think twice before using Jan’s service
