We booked Olive and Thistle way back in 2018 for our 2020 wedding after seeing some amazing videos they’d produced online.Due to covid we had to postpone - twice! But the guys at Olive and Thistle were absolutely fantastic and were happy to reschedule. Communication was always so easy and we felt completely supported by Gary and Amanda .Fast forward to the Wedding day and we had such a lovely time with our videographers Gary and James. Gary had the perfect balance of being such a calming influence yet managing not to get in the way whatsoever on what was quite a stressful morning getting ready ! James was also fabulous , capturing the groom’s side .Gary and James worked seamlessly with our photographers and made sure we weren’t kept away from our guests for too long .We were really excited to see the final films.We were sent an amazing teaser within a week of the wedding and then recently just received our final 5min and full film and we are absolutely over the moon with them! Olive and Thistle have managed to perfectly capture the essence of the day whilst simultaneously making us all look like movie stars!We were looked after from initial enquiry, throughout the pandemic and then right through the actual wedding to receiving our gorgeous films. A lot of suppliers forget about you after you’ve paid but not the case with Olive & Thistle .They are worth every single penny and I’m so glad we not only decided to have a videographer but that we chose Olive and Thistle.Thank you!!!

We recently used Olive and Thistle as videographers for our wedding back in July and we are really happy with the results. Very professional and they clearly know what they are doing and are passionate about it as well. And, on the day - a good laugh too. At times it just felt like we had more guests at the wedding. Gary and Rory were absolutely amazing and professional! Not just brilliant videographers with a great eye but also first class communicators who put us at ease from the very start. On the day, they arrived on time, with great enthusiasm and were very easy to work with. They were patient with both us and the other vendors throughout the day, gave simple instructions and allowed us to feel natural the whole time. They were able to capture little moments without being invasive at all and acted as flies on the wall as they didn't take our attention away from our guests. We simply could not have been happier with the results: the video footage has been beautifully composed, capturing all the key moments, from the bride and groom getting ready to the height of the dancing. We highly recommend them!!!!

Not only did we love O&T but our guests did too. Honestly these guys were phenomenal! Such friendly people, they really listened to what we were after and were very unobtrusive on the day. And what they produced was out of this world! They were very accommodating with edit suggestions and we both adore the final footage. They even took some home footage of us as a couple and added it in to the overall film - their idea not ours!100% brilliant in every way. Would highly recommend.

Couldn’t recommend Olive and Thistle enough! We hired them for our wedding last October as we really wanted a special video that captures all the small moments of our big day! We loved Olive and Thistles style of videography, the way they captured all the small moment in a really candid way! We also loved the addition of the drone! Gary and Amanda were amazing to deal with from start to finish and gathered so many details about what style our wedding was and what sort of video we would like. We had so much of a say from what parts of the day we wanted captured, to the sort of music that we would like. We also gave all information about our wedding party who was who. We had James and Ewan as our filmers for the day and we had such a laugh! We were nervous about getting videod as it is very out of our comfort zone but the guys made us feel so relaxed and one of the best parts of the day was getting our couple shots in as we had such a giggle and felt so relaxed! The guys were discreet when filming, in the background so the footage they captured was so candid and can’t thank them enough! The video editing was superb bringing a tear to everyone’s eye and I’ve definitly watched it a million times already haha! So moving and touching and just captures every moment of our special day, for that we couldn’t be more grateful that we get to relive the day each time we pop the video on so thank you so much! We received a highlight video as well as a full film capturing every part of the day. All presented on a beautiful wooden USB as well as Vimeo links! Thanks guys!!

Amazing! We hired Gary and Amanda at a wedding fair and were really impressed with their style. They were super approachable throughout and answered all of our concerns in the lead up to the wedding. On the day, they made us feel at ease and we didn’t even feel like they were there at all. We had so much fun with them on the day. After the wedding, they turned our video around really quickly and the standard of work was incredible. We are so grateful that we have a highlights film to share with our friends and a full main video to share with close family.
