Would give less than 1 star if possible.I usually prefer to support local shops, but not on thos case. Head to whsmith which is in a better location and is a better stationery shop. For arts and crafts, head to masons first and there is also lewis baker. Two examples of a better local shops run by actually nice people.

I recently moved to Abingdon from nearby Oxford. It has been nice to see the number of independent traders flourishing in this market town. Prices Stationers is everything one could wish for: keenly priced so as not to give the multiples too much of a cost advantage, a really enormous stock somehow tucked away in a small premises, but above all the intelligent, knowledgable and helpful staff who listen patiently and find me what I want before I can find the words to describe it accurately... thank you particularly to Lesley, Jackie, and to owner Anil.

I always try and support local shops and have been in here a few times now.The selection is great and the service is as good as it gets, very friendly, polite and nothing is too much trouble. Beats the large chain stores hands down..

Excellent stationers which stocks Rhodia, Leuchtturm1917, Clairfontaine and more. They even found a refill for one of my pen's where other shops have failed. Prices seem competitive to internet prices too. Abingdon has free car parking for the first two hours so there's no excuse not to go here.

This shop seems to stock almost every single item of stationery you could imagine and if, by any chance they have not got it, they will order it in. The staff are very helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble. This shop represents standards which none of the chain stores can match and is irreplaceable and cannot praise them too highly
