Edward Woods Community Centre

I have used Edward woods community centre for a number of years and now that we're doing the community events fortnightly is a bonus because not only are the staff wonderful especially Jacquie and Emilia, but it's also the welcoming atmosphere you get as soon as you walked into the centre. I recommend it to all users and future users.

This centre is a little jewel and real example of what community spirit should represent. The staff there always welcome you with a smile. Their activities are widespread and a true support to those in need, this in a very modest manner and with utter discretion. I attend an unmissable Feldonkrais class there each week and have found it a true benefit. Thank you Edward Woods Centre!!!!

Two halls, suitable for all events, parking spaces, suitable for wheelchair users, good for children, nice and clean toilets, santander bank bicycle rental on the side of the hall, parking spaces for private bicycles, children park in front and dog park as well. The Indu worship temple is just beside it.

All these hidden gems inside from candy floss from the cinema and shoes/trainers from office/JD Sports to O2 phone shop lidl for corn fed chicken the mission was accomplished was a great ride loved it

Thank you Edward's Wood Community Centre, thank you Jacquie, Emilia and Cezar, I have been with the centre for four years, joining different activities, but I am regular with their badminton. It is the only club that would accept me with my disabilites, and it really helps with my balance and mobility. I highly recommend. Please keep it open.

Edward Woods community-centre :It is is one of the most welcoming and inviting centres. It is always clean and tidy. It centre provides various activities , classes and events that give people a chance to get out, have regular contact with other people and create new friendships and socialise as well as to participate in recreational or educational activities. I used this centre for the playgroup that was run by the masbro centre. From my first to last visit I have to say it's perfect! Every member of staff has been so friendly and helpful with everything that has happened in the time I was taking my daughter here. There was a main lady member of staff (Sharafat) that was just incredible! She listened and was so understanding and helpful. She didn't even have to be as helpful as she was but she was. I'm writing this with a heavy heart as I am really going to miss bring my daughter here. There is always so much to do at the playgroup held here. My daughter loved it here. I couldn't recommend this place enough. If I could give more stars I would. I wish I could give something back! Thank you so much for everything you have done for my daughter!

Great place to have a celebration, parking a bit of an issue as in residential area and finishes 11:00pm.

Have been going to this centre for years. The place is absolutely spotlessly clean. The staff Ohboy say no more are fantastic so kind so helpful nothing is too much for them. I do not think they are recognised enough for all their fabulous venues parties and outings they do for everyone of us. THE TOPS!!

Fantastic center supporting local people. Super friendly staff, very welcoming. Lots of interesting activities!
