What a fabulous week we had, we hired Fyrish which was just brilliant for the job, well equipped and heating if needed. The camper was perfect size for the roads. We would definitely recommend hiring the camper for the NC500 and we are hoping to return soon

Just had an amazing week touring the NC500 as a group of 6 hiring all three VW campers. Excellent communication from Tracy at all times. Comprehensive handover at pick up. We had the van named Cullins. Easy to drive and comfortable bed that was really easy to pull out each night. We have just come back from a week in Scotland in a camper van rented from Highland Costal Campers, and I can’t recommend them enough. Tracy did an amazing walk through of the van prior to and upon us collecting the van. It allowed us to feel confident in how everything worked. The van itself was in good condition, clean and had everything we would need for our trip. We had an absolutely amazing time! Tracy was contactable the whole time and was happy to answer any questions we had. Thank you Tracy for all of your assistance and for allowing us to create such amazing memories!

Thank you Tracy, we hired ‘Wyvis’ camper van for 9 days to to do the NC500 and had the most Amazing Adventures! The camper was fully equipped, very clean and very easy to drive, I loved the fact that we could travel anywhere in the Highlands with no issues of size as some of the other vans where very big, but it was great that we had everything we needed all in one place.Tracy was very informative and helpful, she gave us lots of demo’s on how to use the equipment.I would highly recommend Highland Costal Campers.Looking forward to our next adventure and would definitely hire a van from Tracy again.

Had an amazing and memorable time touring the Highlands and the Isle of Skye in Fyrish, their long-wheel-based VW campervan. Tracy was really helpful to deal with and the van was easy to drive and came with everything we needed. What a great company!

We would like to say a big thank you to Highland Coastal Campers having just returned from a wonderful trip exploring the Highlands & Skye with Cullins! Tracy was friendly and helpful throughout the process and did a great job of explaining how everything worked in the van before we set off. She also arranged our transfers to and from Inverness airport and looked after one of our suitcases for us. It was a pleasure to meet her and her family! The camper itself was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for our adventure. It was easy to drive (even on narrow single track roads), easy to park and had great fuel efficiency. We would definitely choose to rent from Highland Coastal Campers again and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family! Thanks again :)

My partner and I decided that the best way to explore the Isle of Skye would be to hire a campervan so we went with the brilliant family run company Highland Coastal Campers and their ‘Skerray’ van. Tracy was incredibly warm and welcoming as we arrived at their base at her home in Inverness. She took us through every element of the van which is kitted out with everything you would need for a trip on the move, equipped with a fridge, double gas hob, sink and full heating throughout which can be left running all night (much needed in Scotland). Once the pop up roof is up there is plenty of room to cook and hang out and the back seats easily fold out into a bed which sleeps two people very comfortably.The whole experience with Highland Coastal Campers was an absolute dream, and we can’t recommend them enough. We have in fact already spread the word with friends who will be booking the van in the near future and we will certainly be booking a van with them again on a return trip to Inverness and beyond.

We had Fyrish for one week while we camped at Strathpeffer near Inverness. Tracy was reliable and thorough as she showed us how to use the campervan. It was immaculately clean and very roadworthy, even for all of the challenges that the Highland roads threw at us! We went up to the Orkney Islands, over to Isle of Skye, and down to Loch Ness. No problems at all. At night we were warm and relatively comfortable. Tracy even did us the courtesy of arranging a taxi for us to get to the next leg of our journey. She is kind, professional and helpful. I would rent from her again!
