Hen Corner

A jewel in Brentford's crown! Sara has a wonderful garden with chickens & bees. The courses are excellent. Brilliant warm friendly place for both adults & children. Also freshly baked products on Friday's... what's not to love! A slice of country living in the town!

I took my executive team to Hen Corner for an away day - we had a fabulous creative planning meeting, enjoyed an exquisite home grown lunch, played with the bees and made something special to take home to our families. We are going again!

The Pickles and Preserves was another brilliant workshop day with Sara - all the attendees had attended previous days which is testament to her teaching abilities. Sara is both generous in her advice and the sheer amount we cook , eat, take away! She naturally creates a sense of community and camaraderie. Can't recommend highly enough!

Fantastic breads and dough based treats.

I've now done one online course and one in person course at Hen Corner and both were excellent. I did the Bagels and Rye online course a couple of months ago. I love bagels and it's hard to get good ones here so now I can make my own and then freeze them thanks to this course. I then did the Toast and Marmalade course with my daughter, who already does lots of baking but who had never made marmalade. We spent the entire day with Sara and made our own dough for homemade pizzas for lunch. We left with jars of marmalade, bread, buns and big smiles. A wonderful day and my son and husband are very much looking forward now to the in person pasta course they have booked for June - thank you Hen Corner.
