I was recommended via word of mouth to use this garage to investigate and resolve a diesel leak on my van. I was told Brad the owner has the same van and I could trust his service.On my first visit I was told by Brad himself there is no leaks evident. Yet there is big puddles of diesel left on my driveway. So using very little of my own mechanical knowledge I suggested a few things that may need replacing since this experienced mechanic could not find the source of the issue. Brad carried out the work which was very expensive, but I trusted his word and experience. However, still diesel leaking.Took my van back many times and even till today diesel is still leaking.A small example of the cost incurred to myself £80 to change a metal pipe which his worker told me took 30minutes to change.£380 to “top up the fluids”, change a metal injector pipe and change wiper blades.Brad seems like he is interested however the vibration I got was that he prefers doing less work as possible and not thoroughly investigating the issue.He even had to cheek to say “well it’s not like i am short of work, I’m busy enough” when I rang him back to inform him diesel is still leaking. I felt he was not interested at all in fixing my issue yet he is the so called professional with years of experience to solve this issue.

Our family has used this garage now for years for all MOT , services and repairs . Never had a problem they could not solve for a reasonable price . Great to have a small business so local

I've been going to Stevens for repairs, annual servicing and MOTs since 2004. Why? Because I trust them to not rip me off for any unnecessary work or parts, etc. Obviously, if a repair is potentially pricey and diagnosis is not 100% conclusive, as ever it's always best to get a second opinion.

Not very impressed certainly knows how to charge, pity not knowledgable enough to fix an electrical problem on a Skoda Octavia. So far £400 into this area with so called mechanics and fault still not sorted.

Just had my car serviced by Stevens Motors. The service was exceptional, very friendly and professional. They did an excellent job, at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I booked in for an MOT and was told I'd be next on the block. When I came back 2 hours later my car wasn't there and I was told it was driven to the MOT garage in South Woodford... unbelievable!
