Definitely need better customer service skills! Pulled in on Saturday morning to fuel up our narrow boat, and was confronted by an employee, that told us not being grumpy

We have done lots of canals. This is a lovely area. Very well looked after tow paths and all without that tourist" feeling. Well done Black Prince

Feels like an inconvenience when wanting to fuel up boat even though I rang ahead. Even more sarky comments when I only want a set amount of fuel and not just filling up. Forced into a 20% split even though it should be up to me.

We hired a narrow boat from here for the week & they were really friendly and helpful as we hadn't done it before. Highly recommended

Visited shortly after lock down. Stayed for three days and found it to be fairly run down and in need of some care and attention. Feel that most of the effort is channelled into to the hire boat part of the business. Friendly reception but limited facilities.

Wonderful five day experience.Fantastic boat and an excellent experienceTwo families (8 all told) accommodated with ease.Would highly recommend - we went with Black Prince - delightful people.(Warning - a canal boat holiday may cause serious chill.)

Friendly bunch running Black Prince here. Picked up our barge 'Hetty' from this base and cruised to Beeston, Middlewich and Trevor in a week and back.
