J&J’s Skate Shop

The best skate shop!Great stock at fair prices, knowledgeable staff and stickers galore!I Can't find fault with this shop, I've recently moved nearby (well an hours drive) so that said it's not the most local to me... However I'll be using J&Js regardless due to the personable experience and the aforementioned.Much better to see my hard earned money in the pockets of a skater owned shop that gives back. 5*****

Fantastic service, and so friendly and knowledgeable. They were even happy to allow us to visit after closing so we could make sure we had everything before our daughter's birthday. My 11 year old daughter left with her first board, all the safety stuff, and a massive smile. Definitely recommend.

Great shop! Well worth a visit, not what I was expecting but in a good way. Great selection of stock and clothes, has items that you don’t get to see in your everyday skate shop.

What a hidden gem! John and Jenny's skate shop, really fantastic independant shop, service is excellent, first time visiting and we were treated as if we were well known, John could not do enough. Will definitely be back again. Highly recommend paying them a visit!

I saw a J&J sticker on a friend’s helmet and asked where it was. Turns out it’s pretty much a lock-up in a couple’s back garden. Step inside and you’re in an absolute Aladdin’s Cave of Skate Gear: Decks, trucks, bearings, wheels, trainers, hoodies, helmets, pads – you name it, they’ve got it. Nice, genuine people too that are clearly very active in the local skate community. We talked a lot! I had a beaten up off the shelf board that had seen better days. A friend of mine gifted me a new deck, and that was the inspiration for our visit. Johnny and Jenny fixed me up with new trucks, wheels, bearings and fixings and now I’ve got my own totally unique setup. Johnny even offered to put everything together for me, taking time to show me what he was doing. I can’t praise them highly enough. We left with loads of stickers and magazines too. We will be back!

JJS is a superb skate shop, it's an Aladdin's cave of fantastic products. And it's a plus that Johnny is independent. He is always happy to advise and will only sell you what's suitable for what you want. Not what some higher corporate power instructs it's sales assistant to sell you.

What an amazing shop, I can't recommend them highly enough. The owners are very knowledgeable and have great customer service. The store was full of amazing products. I left with a new anti hero board and some amazing socks. I'll be back very soon to get my next set of trucks. This will be my go to shop from now on. Thank you to you both! See you soon.
