Lovely walks through the forest, great place to bring your 4 legged friend, cafe on site but only had outside seating, parking cost us £5 for 3 hrs, parking is free if you have National trust membership, just scan the QR code on your membership card to get a ticket to display inside your car windscreen.

Nice place for short walk. Most of the routes only 2 miles long, good for spending 2 to 3 hours here on a sunny day.

Excellent dog walking spot, plenty of different routes and good parking (and ice cream seller!)

As a young lad in the early 70s , our teacher read us a book. It's title is The weirdstone of Brisingamen" written by Alan Garner. The idea of the book actually comes from the authors childhood

Absolute rip off, we had to pay £8 for 4 hours for parking, or 3 hours for 5 pounds, please find somewhere else to visit, if you are not a member of national trust you will be punished, absolutely no service, no signs, no bins dirty toilets, no basic service, paying for such places you get a good feeling as if you are paying for nature or environment, but in reality looking at the state of the park you can tell the money goes to some peoples pocket than to the park service

It's a car park. £4.50 for 3 hours, extortionate! Alderley edge walk was great though.

Multiple trails to follow. Lovely shaded first walks which are perfect for a hot day.

Busy car park on sunny days reflective of the good location. Free toilets. Parking also free of you scan your national trust card. Good walking routes through mainly forested areas. Good view towards Manchester from a 5 to 10 minute walk (North West corner of the yellow route).

My visit was based around photographing the autumn colours in this beautiful area. The pathways are well kept near the wizard which is great for families. Across the road is a little less maintained with some very stodgy areas which is to be expected. Get the walking boots on! The views from the edge were wonderful albeit very busy. The car park gets very busy on the weekends by midday but there are lots of spaces. It’s a one way, turn left and follow around idea which works. The three stars are for the terrible price of parking at £8.10 (Pay by phone) for 4 hours. Typical NT pricing. I would have had a coffee in the Wizard tea rooms but I’d already been fleeced so didn’t.
