ASDA Pharmacy

Don’t trust this pharmacy at all. I made a big mistake choosing Asda Pharmacy. I had an idea about saving time and it will be easy to do shopping and take prescription but it doesn’t work in HYDE ASDA PHARMACY. I went there a few months ago, and they said no medications were in my name. I requested new medications, and it took a long time. I was out of medications, and after three weeks, they gave me medication with a label on which it printed 25 days before that day, and they said sorry maybe your bag was missing into the our boxes!!!! The second problem happened a week ago when they took my prescription in 2 separate bags. They just gave me one of them, and again, for another five days, I was out of medication, and I started complaining about that. The Pharmacy Manager was not there, and the Asda manager said the pharmacy was not under Asda's control because we rented it. We were not responsible for what was happening there. After four days, the manager called me, and nobody could explain why it had happened two times in a few months. They don’t care how important it is for people to use their medications, and for your safety, please avoid using that pharmacy.

Worst pharmacy experience I've ever had.I've had issues with 3 different prescriptions, for the same reason as another reviewer here!Each time I'm told, no your GP hasn't sent the prescription across and made to feel stupid, then after multiple trips back to the pharmacy my medication is miraculously found, and the date of issue label on the bag (the date the prescription was fulfilled by the pharmacy) is the same date the GP sent the original request across!!!!!Today I was left in floods of tears by a very rude older woman, who actually threw her arms up in the air at me!I was so embarrassed, and as I was in so much pain I had to resort to paying in full for my medication, which fortunately was available over the counter. Luckily a much kinder gentleman served me at this point, but the damage was already done.This isn't the point however, as I was given a prescription for my medicine by my GP, and I also prepay for my prescriptions.I'll be looking to support another Pharmacy elsewhere.

Very poor pharmacy, customer service non existence particularly with couple of staff.Alls waiting for someone to greet you, staff busy talking with themselves.Waited 10 minutes before some came over, didn't have decency to say prescription not ready, until i asked.Absolutely rubbish pharmacy.

Only been using the pharmacy for a few weeks. The service has been adequate at best.The 1 star rating is because of the wait for insulin.Om diabetic and have been waiting for a couple of days because the delivery didn't turn up.

First and last time using this pharmacy. Use one of the ones on market street if you have the opportunity. Rang through, with tonsillitis, checking if my antibiotics have arrived to be greeted by the rudest member of staff I could have hoped for, I asked if they can tell me if my prescription had come in yet to which she cut me off and blurted “well what’s your name” so I told her, was on hold for 5 minutes to be told no it wasn’t there yet like her previous colleague had told me (2.5 hours earlier) so I rang my surgery, and she told me they had been delivered 1 hour before the phone call. So that’s great. Thanks Asda

Far too expensive to purchase here.

Do people at this pharmacy not answer the phone? So many occasions when I've tried calling and it just continues ringing until it cuts off. It's an absolute joke, especially when it's regarding an important prescription.
