Turkish Barber Shop by Kos

Absolutely horrendous! Got charged £26 for a uneven haircut and shave. I have used this establishment several times and usually they’re good, bearing in mind the owner usually cuts it. However this time an absolute joke of a barber who simply rushed the haircut and totally ruined it. Also the barber never gave me the package I paid for. Shameful to have such staff working here. Ps barber name was naseer (one with the tattoos on arm)

Absolutely terrible experience. If I could rate it 0 stars I would.The guy rushed my sons haircut, his hair was uneven over the whole head / ai had to point out several times parts that needed levelling out and shortening. The fade wasnpoor down one side.I have taken him elsewhere to correct it. The other place was shocked how poor the cut was.When it came to my cut the guy refused to do it and instead said the lady will do it because they work in turns. My personal preference was I didn't want a lady cutting my hair, to which he replied he “isn’t religious” and this “isn’t a mosque”. He didn’t respect my wishes one bit even though I have every right to choose whether a male or female cuts my hair.The lady herself was fully understanding of my personal choice but the guy just refused. Didn’t look like he wanted to be there and was more concerned about having a cigarette and breakfast.I found the experience totally inappropriate. I will never be using this place again even though I have been before. The sheer audacity and downright rudeness of the guy has permanently put me off. I have since been to another turkish barber nearby and had a great experience. Why cutting hair can be so complicated I do not understand. If the guy does not want to be there he shouldn’t be.This place has gone downhill. Visit at your peril.

Went here today as I live down the road. Looks very nice and glamour ace inside. The shops is very clean and shiny. Went in and one person was getting their haircut. I did not need a haircut just needed a beard trim. Well to be honest just a shape up off my beard. The chaos that cut my hair hair was a good lad very nice and polite trimmed my spit ends and straighten up my beard. 1st time using it. Then all off it was done in about 15minutes the total was 15 pounds which I thought was abit steep for what I had which was not much. Reason why I was upset was the guy just made the amount up and charged me. Problem with these places is they charge whatever they want at that time. Also as time goes on they drop their standards and it foes goes downhill. But the place is really nice.

Unprofessional, overpriced and need to be told step by step by customer on how to cut hair and they still get it wrong. No apologies instead blame customer. They also add to your bill by doing things you didn't ask for and then later charging you for it. Waited 3hrs when there was only 4 customers ahead of me and three hairdressers cutting hair. Very bad customer serviceFirst time I've been here and it will most certainly be the last.

Having being recommended this Barbers by Family and Friends I was very excited. I underestimated the experience I would have. From continuous hot face towels to being asked for a drink twice was something I was not expecting. The best Barbers I have ever been to and trust me I have been everywhere. I will definitely be a regular, well worth the price. I arrived on Sunday the 7th for my first time just as the Store opened so was not that busy which was also nice. I tipped the barber for meeting my exact requirements and giving me the best beard fade I have ever had. Cant wait to see you soon :)

Went in there and showed a specific hairstyle. Such a simple hairstyle. I grew my hair for so long to get that style done and the lady just ruins it by cutting all the hair. Never come here again. Not the first time. They just cannot do more than the typical simple haircut

Horrible service! I walked in with my 2 year old the lady working was very rude. I explained how it was my sons first hair cut and wanted he was nervous. She said I can't cut his hair if he cries or moves! And I'm not cutting it. I asked if she would at least try as it's his first time. She said no! There was also a dog on the premises. Horrible place, do not visit.

Was really good until Nasir (Jordanian Palestinian) started working there. Lacking basic manners. I don't think I'll be returning. Looking for a new place now, or might drive by a few times to see if the excellent staff from before are still there.

Highly recommend this place the wait was less than 10 minutes and service was great, offering customers a beverage would come again
