I booked a taxi to Reading station to get myself to the airport, and the service was truly awful. I booked a taxi for 8:30am, and despite numerous calls it didn't arrive till past 8:50am. The gentleman on the phone was incredibly rude and callous and told me that there's 'no point being on the phone with me because the driver is right outside and they're probably rying to ring me'- despite me standing outside the address for a further 10 minutes following this phonecall. He also somehow managed to put the blame onto me, by saying that I'd booked the taxi for between 8:30 and 8:40am - which is not what their confirmation text said, and the taxi still would've been significantly late even if that was the case. Despite all of this, when the taxi did finally arrive, I had an extremely kind and understanding driver who managed to get me to the station with 2 minutes to spare. Very grateful to him, and he went above and beyond.It shouldn't need to be this stressful to get taxi for the agreed, confirmed time and you certainly shouldn't be made to feel as though you're in the wrong. I will sadly never use this company again

What a great company. We’ve used them many times. Fair prices, quality, clean cars and friendly, reliable, polite drivers. We got home from T5 last night courtesy of a “Zafar” who drove beautifully and added humour and happiness to the journey. 10 out of 10 for quality of service, far more than one would expect. Thanks you Cintra, the best car service in Reading/Berkshire.

I had a wonderful experiences. I’d highly recommend them to everyone! Communication was outstanding, the vehicle was clean, and the driver was very welcoming. I cannot Thank you guys enough for making our every journey hassle free. The drivers are friendly and reliable. Great service, also in handling last minute change requests in an uncomplicated way. Highly recommended. These guys will go out of their way!

Complete rip off, they overcharge customers almost double London prices, I paid £18 from Winersh Triangle to Wokingam 4 miles, how can thy justify?

Ordered a taxi for as soon as possible, they said 10 minutes. 25 minutes later I call and they tell me 15 minutes and wouldn’t offer a discount. Worst customer service I’ve experienced over the phone. They didn’t see any urgency.

I had a taxi driver come in for a pick up at 5.30 am whi banged up my car on the drive...Contras is normally great and I always use them for their reliability and support in time...but a bit disappointed with this. Though TBH when I complained they said it is being looked into and am now waiting to hear back on how they deal with this issue. They would have got a full 5 stars otherwise.

Booked them to take us to reading festival. Great service on way there. For way back they picked someone up off the street after already being pre booked for us. Then said they rearranged another taxi and never did left us stranded for an hour and a half rang up and got another one and tried to charge us more than what they agreed until we rang back and got it back down to original price. £30 for a 15 min journey. Taxi drivers we had were great but the company are shambles

Pre-ordered 2 taxis to and from our work Christmas party. Price agreed and prepaid via the website. Despite this, we had to confirm several times as we kept getting messages that the price/service was different. Confusion included an additional ‘out-of-area surcharge’ that was not noted on booking/prepaying via the website- quoted additional cost varied from £15 to £60 per car depending on who we spoke to but we were able to agree an additional payment after several calls and confirmations. When the taxis arrived the driving was not the most careful on the way, with one driver speeding through floodwater and one of our team members feeling sick on arrival at our destination as a result. The other taxi went to the wrong venue and then tried to drive off when it arrived at the right venue whilst team were still getting out of the car! On the way back only one taxi arrived, despite all the confirmations, meaning half our group had to wait an additional 30 minutes to be picked up. We were grateful they arrived in the end, but we honestly wouldn’t recommend or use the service again as a result of our experience. In short, the taxi company took the edge off our evening; they were high maintenance and their communication was poor.

Typical of this country, big event happening, private company takes advantage of railway issues. £35 fare for a distance that would usually be about £15 in my local area while others were charged £20 for exact same journey. Thankfully we only have to use taxi services here once a year but I will be avoiding this company in the future.
