Great car at a reasonable price, although there was a few minor issues with the car the owner was respectful, answered all my calls and assisted in repairs. Very pleased. Good company to deal with.

Avoid this place completely. Went to buy a fiesta from here and it was as if they weren't expecting me after I gave a week's notice of the day and time I would arrive. You first have to go through some dodgy industrial area to get there behind the BP where people have arguments to the extent of kicking each others property.The car in the ad's pictures were clean, upon arrival it was absolutely covered in dirt all round as if it wen't off-roading (I suspect this is to avoid seeing dents, scrapes and parts that have been repainted). The engine was boiling hot when we arrived which their excuse was they recently took it to the mechanic, (again to avoid hearing unnatural sounds on a cold start). The boot had rubbish inside under the floor and they made no effort to clean the inside after having the car on site for over a month, it was also low on engine oil shortly after which shows signs of leakage.They told me nothing was wrong with this car before inspecting it but upon arrival it had a missing fog light, was low on engine oil and one of the rear doors wouldn't open from the outside. The guy there said he would take it to their local mechanic to get this fixed but a day after the same problem occurred. The car in 1/3 times wouldn't move off in 1st or reverse gear and the tyres were below the legal tread depth (one was older than the car!). The guy drove it to the mechanic highly revving it to where I thought the engine was going to explode, from 1st straight to 5th on the dual carriageway on the way to the mechanic. Reason behind this was 2 of the rear alloy wheels were 'buckled' e.g. bent out of shape creating a thumping noise at higher speeds. I't was so bad in fact that I had people pulling up next to me explaining they're wobbling all over the place, I was told shortly after from a proper mechanic that they had to be replaced as they had suffered a major collision at some point, costing £180 each.I was furious and called them back a week later after discovering all of these issues. They were very hesitant of taking the car back and giving me a refund even after I had put new tyres on it , replaced the rusty wipers, gave it a clean and topped it up on fluids. The only thing that stopped them from continuing on this ignorance was the fact that I would ruin their 5 star rating, In the end I haggled enough to get my money back that i payed for the car upfront but excluding everything else I had to pay out for. The only reason they gave in was because I threatened to create a review on their 5 star ratings, buyers need to be aware.DO NOT go to this 'dealership' no matter how good the deal and what they say as it's all lies.

Avoid this so call dealer. Bought a car and the engine light came on. Took to local mechanic and dognistocs picked up major faults. I have been quoted 2k for the repairs. Warranty is for 3 months which doesn't run until for a few weeks and the company will not pay out. Also when my mechanic looked into the service details and asked for the invoice details surprisingly the paperwork has gone missing..

Really helpful and friendly sales service - without being pushy. Would highly recommend this dealer. Also a great car at a fantastic price.

Avoid this place completely bcz these are dodgy peoples advertised falsely on Autotrader and Tempered logbooks to change details of vehicle. I bought a car as one previous owner also confirmed from logbook shown at time of purchase but later knew different when received new logbook stated 4 previous owner. Now they don't attend my phone call. Never recommend .

Bought a 2004 VW (that’s currently listed on H B Motors), paid the overpriced and NON refundable deposit of £200 (which the guy initially told me £100 could be returned and later changed his mind) which was listed as 1 owner on the ad. When the car was delivered I discovered there were two registered owners. Got over that, then a day into having the car, I realised half of the car didn’t lock and the rear wiper didn’t work (to which I was told it would still pass it’s MOT anyway so it didn’t need to be fixed but I had to insist). They came to fix the car, actually damaged the locking mechanisms on those doors to the point where the doors wouldn’t even close, they just bounced back and they needed to tie the doors to the seats to drive it away. Initially, they told me that I didn’t have to pay and that the repairs would take a day. A week later when the car was fixed, I was told that I had to pay £120, which as a new time buyer I thought I had to do it, so I paid them £100 - for something that wasn’t even working before I bought the car and shouldn’t be my expense and they knew this and took advantage of my lack of experience. I also had to get a bus and a train to Harold Wood to collect the car because they had taken so long to fix the car I was at risk of my insurance being cancelled because the black box was yet to be fitted. A few days after I took the car home, the engine light and exhaust light turned on, the car wouldn’t even accelerate past 20 mph on a busy 40 mph road and I contacted them. They said they would repair the car (again) and if another issue came up they would also repair it - which seemed suspicious. I asked for a refund and they refused to give me one. Later they said that if I was to get a refund, they would have to deduct £250 from my money as I was the third owner of the car and it’s depreciated in value. I didn’t budge and I finally got a refund after he spoke to his manager. Funny thing is, the car is currently listed and on the ad, it still claims to only have had one owner. In my opinion, I doubt they even fixed the problems with the car, they probably just used a tool to reset the dashboard lights - waiting for the next person to get scammed. Their customer service skills are atrocious, with no updates or calls - you have to contact them if you ever need anything and when you’re on the phone you always feel rushed. The irony of this whole ordieal is that the dealer who delivered the car told me that he was an ‘honest man’ and that ‘I wouldn’t have to pay a penny out for this car’ - I reckon if I add it up, the expenses amount to over £500 and I only had the car for 2 weeks! I personally think anyone considering buying from this company is better off looking for a car elsewhere.

Had an excellent experience with H B Motors. They delivered the car to me going above and beyond as i could not get to the dealership. Let me test the car before purchase. Was very honest with the car, no hidden isues, and it was cleaned in and out as well. Would certainly recommend H B Motors.

Excellent service and good stock. Recently bought a car which is far better condition in similar price range cars available in the market. Access to the garage is a bit rough but this should not put you off.

Totally avoid this dodgy car dealer, here is why.I went to buy a car from him and ask for a discount he refused but in the end I realised he added an extra £100 to the cost from which the car was advertised for on his website without informing me and pretending he don't know what I'm talking about. Totally avoid this place avoid avoid avoid!!!
