Lucky ramen has the best ramen in Manchester!Part of me still wants to gatekeep it - it’s that good! The restaurant is small but cozy and intimate with a stylish interior. There is also outdoor seating and seats at the bar.My favourite order is the tonkotsu ramen which has incredible flavour and is always so speedy when coming out the kitchen. I had to go back twice in one week I loved it that much. I’ve ordered the Savioughn blanc white wine here too which is very good.Service is quick and friendly which is helpful when there’s a lot of people inside!I recommend this place to all my friends!

- edamame £4.90- kasaoka £14.90- tantanmen £14.90this was actually my second attempt at getting a table at lücky bc the first time the waiting time was expected 40/50 minutes. this time, we came at opening time so we were basically the first customers but within just half an hour, it was rammed and a queue started to build up.i didn’t have high expectations for the edamame bc 90% of the time it tastes the same but bc they chargrill it here, it had so much more depth! the salt and chilli seasoning was just right too so i didn’t think it needed the soy sauce.their new menu has an extensive range of ramens and i really like how many components go into each bowl! whilst the tantanmen was a hearty bowl of ramen, i think it needed more flavour and spice to be considered a tantanmen. it felt more like they added chilli oil to a standard broth rather than the chilli and spices being infused into the broth. the temperature was slightly off-putting for me bc even though the broth was steaming hot, all the components were at best room temp (almost even cold). i imagine this is bc the components are all cooked separately and simply put together when it’s about to be served but this is expected with a wide menu but a small kitchen.the service is really friendly and welcoming and overall, i did enjoy my meal here so i would come back to try the other ramens or even the sushi as those are highly praised too but i wouldn’t necessarily rush back or queue.

Lucky ramen and sushi is located in Ancoats of Manchester. It provides Japanese cuisine. We ordered karaage chicken, dragon roll and hakata ramen. Food tastes good. Recommend to try.

Nice seating, brilliant food and atmosphere. We got ramen and were pleasantly surprised to find out we got 50% off as they have offers on. Highly recommend and would definitely go again.

Love the food here, best ramen by far and we are here every week guaranteed. They do weekly offers to help people with financial difficulties, and the staff are AMAZINGGGG!!! Music is good, decor is beautiful, price is beyond reasonable but the quality of food is so high end!!!!!

The food was incredible but the service let the place down.Side plates weren’t brought with the starters even though we asked for them and said we were sharing, we weren’t asked if we wanted a second drink and no one came back to our table to check things were okay. For a very small restaurant it could definitely be improved. We were planning on staying for cocktails afterwards but just thought we’d go somewhere else after that.Would go back just for the food though!

A real hidden gem in Manchester for high quality Asian fusion, with brilliant sushi and fun sharing plates as well as really well put together cocktails (amazing take on an espresso martini is a big recommend).Tip: go half an hour before you want to get a table, it’s always full and they’ll take your number and call you. (Go for a pint in Edinburgh castle)

Lucky Ramen in Manchester offers a delightful culinary experience with its flavorful dishes. The variety of ingredients and rich flavors truly stand out. However, a slight drawback was the lack of broth in the ramen. Despite this, the impeccable taste and quality of the noodles and toppings managed to shine through. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff make it a worthwhile visit for anyone seeking a satisfying ramen meal with a unique twist.

We arrived at around 6 o'clock without a reservation. There were only five people in the restaurant. After we were seated, the waiter came with a card machine to order drinks, and we realized it was a service model where you have to pay immediately after ordering. We ordered a simple dinner, but because the table was too small and the space between tables was very narrow, we didn't like the fact that we had to settle the bill immediately after ordering. During the meal, the waitstaff did not come to ask if the dinner was enjoyable, so the service was essentially non-existent. The ramen was overall good, with a unique and not too heavy broth, but the portion of noodles was small. The sashimi was relatively fresh, but when we ordered a sashimi for two, they didn't provide us with individual plates, and the server spilled soy sauce on the table and walked away. I won't be coming back to a place with such service.
